The hotel is in a great location between the airport and cruise port but it is showing its age. It needs a deep clean and some TLC. The continental breakfast was good.

Embassy Suites by Hilton San Juan Hotel & Casino
I was charged a bogus smoking fee that was eventually removed only after escalating the matter up to the CEO. I spent a considerable amount of my vacation disputing this scam of a fee. I also had two incidents of staff going out of their way to be intentionally rude.

The Royal Sonesta San Juan
Beautiful property. Restaurants on property were pricey. The breakfast buffet is $40pp. All food was delicious. Room smelled a little musty at first, but we were able to open the slider and get in some fresh air.
