House with a view
The pictures of this house don't do it justice. It's a custom house that brings the nature inside with great lighting and thoughtful design. Comfy beds and everything we needed for a great stay

A rip off!

Amazing, private, access to beach
What an amazing property. The guest house was as described. The house was unique and provided each of our kids with their own room — complete with bunk beds in each. The home is older so expect some minor wear and tear in some spots. The property owner was highly responsive to questions. Our favorite was private/direct access to the beach. A morning swim followed with some body boarding became the trip ritual. Would not hesitate to come back.

Brilliant stay at the Yacht House
This place is in the absolute perfect spot in Tofino. Its a lovely place to be as you are right on the beach AND a nice walk, hike from everywhere. LOVED IT. Thanks guys

We had a great time there. The house is in a great part of Tofino, just 10min easy drive into town and right out the back you can walk right onto Chesterman beach which was perfect. Well worth staying there.

Great spot on the beach!
Had an amazing time at this house. Was a very good size for our family of 4. Kids each got a bunk bed so they were really happy. The hot tub was awesome, and we got sec it lots since we arrived during a snowstorm. We would certainly come back again.

Great location
Location of this property can’t be beat. It’s right on chesterman beach. Hot tub is great. Kids bunk bed rooms were perfect for our children. The guest house itself is nice but a lot smaller than we were expecting. Kitchen is really tight with very little counter space. Otherwise good spot to stay.

Perfect location right on the beach with three beach chairs, behind the main house so little view of the beach, but easy access. Good appliances esp laundry, practical bedrooms esp master, mediocre mattresses. Kitchen well equipped. A beautiful property where you spend most of the time outside!

Pleasant Tofino Base
This property is in a brilliant location, Chesterman Beach, if you are a Surfer which we are not. Being a five minute drive to downtown Tofino made it perfect for our visit, whale watching etc. The rooms are clean and in a well constructed property. However the bedroom configurations are better suited for a couple with children rather than a group of adults.

Family vacation
Great place for my family (my wife and I, and our 3 kids, 6,8 and 12). Live to surf was awesome as usual and we spent 2.5 day surfing and playing in the ocean. The suite was lovely, beds and baths were great. The living space is a bit small for our family but still good. The kitchen is small for food prep and could use some non stick pans but good enough for our couple days. Hot tub was a lifesaver for the kids. Operational and clean. Great for after the surf. Upgrades and amenities
A wonderful stay. So many upgrades! The home was warm and welcoming. From the heated main floor to the luxurious linens and fresh coffee beans, this getaway was perfect! The hot tub was spacious and so relaxing. Enjoying a cup of coffee wrapped in a wool blanket (provided by our generous hosts) was the perfect way to start each morning. We will be back!

Lovely Place & Location
Great place, great location. Watch your head - especially if you're over 5'9" - lots of funky angles upstairs. Cute spot. Hot tub was a treat after being in the ocean. Main bed was much too soft - should have a boxspring instead of 2 mattresses. Great attention to detail and immediate response when we needed help with a couple things.

Things that Spoil Paradise....
This is an impressive place that needs some care and attention: 2 stove burners don't work....oven is difficult to use...in this day of van rebuilds a new stove would be easy to get. one in fahrenheit for goodness sakes A board fell out from under the sink (on my bare foot) and the sink is loose, and you shouldn't need papers to shut off a garborator. The shower head down stairs sprays all over, get a new one also the door knob on that bathroom door is almost falling off. The dish cloths were just disgustingly stained...and only two tea towels...seriously easy fixes but do detract from a spectacular place.

Fantastic location!!!!
Incredible views, comfortable rooms and good value for the money. My only comment would be that It’s time for painting the main floor and some of the dishes and cutlery are mismatched and chipped. You need at least 6 of everything. A minor complaint for a great spot. I’d rent again for sure!!! 5/5.

We stayed four nights at this beautiful cottage on Chesterman Beach. The beach is just along a short trail past the hot tub ☺️ We loved the layout and the set up was ideal for our school-aged kids.

Amazing spot to stay!
Just like everyone else, we needed a place to get away to after this past year and a half! The location was great with having the Chesterman Beach less than 100ft outside our door. Clean house with everything we needed. Would definitely recommend to others.

Easy access to beach, peek a boo view of beach from kitchen and master bedroom. Nice hot tub. Access to three chairs overlooking the beach that feel like a royal box at the opera—great for watching the ocean and reading. Living area is small, no indoor table, but it was big enough for the four of us.

Great Surf Location!!
This is a great property for proximity to the beach and the waves. We were there to enjoy the surf and you can't get much closer if you tried! The hot tub was great. The board rack made it easy. We would recommend an outdoor hot shower and a place to dry your wetuit gear. Thanks for a great stay!!

Excellent location! But.....
We love Chesterman Beach and this property, although located behind the main house, still provided the sound of the ocean and you can glimpse the ocean through the kitchen and up in the main bedroom. The Adirondack chairs were amazing and well used for some sunset gazing and lazy afternoons reading out by the ocean. Some of the other "pros" to this property was the hot tub (we loved it as we were staying in October!), the floors in the kitchen and bathrooms were heated (also super lovely in the cooler months), we had a good response time from one of the managers for a minor garburator issue. The kitchen is well stocked with all the necessities (and then some) The beds were really comfortable, and the quirky layout was fun for the kids. Cons: they were mostly minor, but added up to a lot.... The place was clean-ish, which is more of a major issue during a pandemic! The house seemed relatively clean, however, the bathroom toilet upstairs wasn't flushed and the toilet paper roll was unrolled considerably and torn....which just made me wonder if it had been cleaned?? Ugh. We also found a wrinkled t-shirt and one sock in the bed drawers in one of the bedrooms...again...this is COVID and had to wonder about how clean and sanitized the place was.... We couldn't find a bottom sheet for the pull out couch. The main downstairs closet, which seemed like it should be for jackets and shoes was disorganized with vacuums, mops and brooms so we didn't have a place to really put things away neatly. There was no storage for the pantry food items that we brought, but I think with some reorganizing or getting rid of some redundant things, it would be relatively easy to free up one cupboard... The upstairs TV didn't have an HDMI cord, so nothing was hooked up (not that it was a big deal for us, but still...), oh, and again, not a major issue at all, but if you wanted to call out on your cell phone, the copper roof caused a poor connection and you had to go outside... Again, a minor thing, but there wasn't any soap in the bathrooms (it did come with mini bottles of shampoo, conditioner and moisturizer though), but we had to go and get our own soap for showers and handwashing. Overall, we had a great time and the place has a lot of potential to be awesome and worth the cost, however, our experience could have been much better if even half the issues were addressed - except for the cleaning....that needs to be addressed ASAP.

I assumed beach front meant we would be right on the beach but we were tucked behind the main house which was a little disappointing for the cost. We enjoyed our stay. And even though we were tucked behind the main house it was just steps to the most beautiful beach! Also nice deck chairs to sit in on overlooking the beach. No table inside but the kitchen is well stocked though with limited storage. The coffee filters looked stained as though they were already used. Probably an over site by the cleaner. We didn’t ask for new ones though I am sure they would have been accommodating.

Our stay at the Yachthouse provided my family a much needed retreat and gathering place with all the necessities plus more.... The layout of this amazing guesthouse allowed for quiet solitude and privacy with all the separate sleeping rooms so early risers would not disturb others. Just steps from the beach allowed for contemplation as well as breathtaking connection to the wind and water. Thank you for the opportunity to stay at this luxury Yachthouse for me and young adult children.

It was a beautiful location but without power for the majority of our whole stay and the constant humming of a loud sound each night, air ventilation maybe, which made our sleeps almost impossible we probably wouldn’t return but it was a nice experience and we’re glad we went

Peaceful Place
The Yacht House is great. The place is right on the beach and prefect for kids playing and adults enjoying the beach. We stayed a week here. The physical space is broken up for people to have privacy if they want it. The two rooms with bunks is perfect for the kids. The place is high quality. The kitchen is small and adequate for cooking basic meals. I think it would be hard to make a feast there. For that you have the grill.

Peaceful, private haven
Experience complete relaxation in a secluded spot right on the beach. The unit is behind the main house so there are no sweeping views of the ocean but a 15 second walk takes you to the sand. Compact layout but a real sense of being able to have privacy within the Yacht House. Wonderfully clean, completely comfortable. If stairs are a challenge this may not work for you (to the bedrooms). Top rate construction. Lots of greenery & trees looking out the windows. One of the best places to stay.
