You'll love this cozy 1-bedroom + loft, 3-bathroom townhome with breathtaking views of Lake Superior on the North Shore of Minnesota. Whether you're seeking quality time together or moments of solitude, this charming townhome offers the perfect space for both. Situated in Tofte, MN, it boasts unbeatable lakefront views and is conveniently located near Lutsen Ski Resort, Superior National Golf Course, the Superior Hiking Trail, stunning rivers and waterfalls, and the Sugarbush Trails for cross-country skiing. Plus, the North Shore State Bike Trail runs right outside your door!

The upstairs features a spacious lakeside bedroom and a loft for extra sleeping space. The lower level includes a sofa sleeper for additional guests, a bathroom, and a cozy gas fireplace. With a walkout basement, you can easily step outside to take in the sights, sounds, and fresh air of Lake Superior. Please be cautious around the property, as there are some steep slopes near the lawn and common areas. The stairway leading to the beach is on the east end of the property, but please note that the stairs are removed after Labor Day due to potential ice damage.

This townhome is dog- and cat-friendly, so feel free to ask about bringing your four-legged family member along. However, we kindly ask that pets not be left unattended in the townhome at any time.

The base rate accommodates up to 4 guests, with a maximum capacity of 6. A fee of $20 per night applies for each additional guest over 4.

This place looked great online, but when we arrived, it exceeded expectations. It is so cozy and the kitchen had everything we needed, great view, great location. We thought we left something behind and heard back very promptly from Nikki. Would definitely return!

The place was clean and has a great view of the lake. Great multi level space. Small hiccup with the access key but the owner was quick to respond and fix the issue. Would stay again.

A Stunning Spot

This townhome exceeded all of our expectations! It was clean, the views were stunning, and it was close to everything we wanted to do during our weekend away. Waking up to the sun rising over Lake Superior every morning was, hands down, my favorite part. We already can’t wait to stay here again next year!

Peaceful Location

Our family of 4 (2 adults and 2 children) stayed at this property from July 21-25 this year. The view of Lake Superior from the unit was spectacular! Bathrooms were well stocked, and the full kitchen was nice for family meals. We really enjoyed the private beach access and had fun rock hounding in the lake. State parks are nearby, as well as Grand Marais (lovely little town!).

My husband and i stayed for a couple of nights as a base camp for hiking, sightseeing, shopping, etc. The property was very clean, comfortable beds, and everything we needed was there. The views of Lake Superior from the top floor bedroom were gorgeous! Loved our stay.

Perfect for North Shore Stay

I’ve stayed here twice and it continues to be perfect for visiting the North Shore area. Its location is close to Lutsen and Tofte, the bike trail is steps away, it’s VERY clean, right on Lake Superior with amazing views, and a kitchen that has everything you need to make meals. We are so comfortable here and being so close to hiking trails and the shoreline make it very peaceful. It’s well priced for the area and pet friendly. We will continue to come back!

Amazing stay on Superior

We loved our trip and would recommend this VRBO to any small group looking for a clean and comfortable place to stay. Wonderful morning sunshine and beautiful sunsets from both sides of the property. We especially enjoyed playing cards at the kitchen table and having a well stocked kitchen to prepare meals in.

Mom and Dad liked the large, comfortable master suite. The kids liked having their own space, and the dog was just glad we didn't have to leave him behind! Close access to everything we wanted to do. Clean, beautiful location near Lake Superior. Great views. Furnishings and kitchen are great. Love there is a bathroom on each floor and laundry. Take note that there are 3 floors. Steps are fairly steep. There is no bedroom on entry floor.

Great condo, super clean and updated

Great view of the lake from the master bedroom. The family room is on the lowest level of the three. That’s also where there is a pull out sofa. Kitchen and small balcony is on the main level. Very comfortable for a family of four. The lakeshore is accessible down the bank, and the rocks are not too challenging to navigate. Would stay here again!

Beautiful View, Great Location on North Shore

They views of this condo can’t be beat. You are up high on the patio or in the master bedroom and Lake Superior meets the horizon. You can easily view the sunrise too. It’s clean throughout, kitchen has everything you need as we made all of our meals comfortably during our stay, plenty of room in the master bath, and a comfortable bed. This condo has great access to trails and parks in the area, a great bike trail is just steps from the condo to bike or walk the dogs, and there our common spaces outside to sit and enjoy the water, beach and views. The porch is great in that it sits back so when it rains we were protected whereas the other porches were all wet around us. The units are close together so you will hear others if their doors or windows are open, but folks seemed to be respectful of others. I would definitely stay here again when visiting the North Shore.
