The rooms were a bit bigger than the APA Shibuya, just the right size. Walking distance to train station and electric town. Would definitely come back if we are staying in Akihabara.

Staff are excellent, helpful and polite (they greet me every time I walked passed the reception !) and location is convenient. The only thing is that the hotel has only 1 lift so it was crowded in the morning.

Overall, good hotel for its price. My two concerns were mostly the bed was not comfortable and, I guess due to the time of year we visited, air conditioning was not available. Only heating was available. The small room was expected but sweating on an uncomfortable bed was not.

The cleaning was excellent. The staff was always helpful. As negative side the room looks bit small and, unfortunately, breakfast was not included. It would be easy to have like a free coffee and milk machine without being too fancy. But overall the hotel was good. Well connected to Akihabara train station (5 min walking distance).

They say that they are eco-friendly and recommend that you re-use towels\, no problem with that. But every morning a cleaning person leaves a bag with new towels, new robe and new flip flops!! If you are not out of your room when the cleaning person arrives you end up with lots of bags in a small room.

If you leave used toiletries outside of your room, as you mentioned, we will collect them. I write this as I sweat in my room because the hotel refuses to switch on AC to my room. They say it's cold outside. I say it's hot inside. They say open a window. I open the window & I'm faced with a noisy street and rain coming in, so with the bed right up against the window, that is simply not tenable. Stay hot & sweaty or open a window and become damp and live the street noise? Not really giving me much to work with here. Avoid this property at all costs. They place customer confort low on their priorities.

APA properties are always clean and well-equipped, with a comfortable bed, in my experience. The rooms are small, but fine to use as a base/ somewhere to rest. The downside to the size is there's nowhere to pack your clothes or other items. This particular location is great. It's surrounded by restaurants, and is only a few minutes walk from Akihabara station and Electric Town.

Very close to Akihabara station, making it a great central spot to explore Tokyo. The room is great for solo travellers. Its simple, but all you need for a couple of days in Tokyo.

Stayed one night and i appreciated the convienence and how easy and smooth the process was to check in and check out. The amentities offered were great for me as a solo traveller, and felt pretty comfortable. The robe i was given seemed used/not clean enough and found a weird stain in the washroom curtain but otherwise i have no complains. :)

Overall bare bones. A bed and a shower. But it's close to Akihabara and only a few steps away from the train station so a good place to explore from. Also the longer I was there the more amenities I discovered, it's not immediately clear but you can run your own AV equipment into the TV from an HDMI port on the wall opposite. Still can't tweak the TV setting though, so buckle up for some cheap smoothing/interperlation. Tough for games probably good for everyone else

APA is always clean. I really appreciate the cleanliness. The rooms are small basically Tokyo standard. Also the water is hot, especially after a long day a hot shower is amazing. Walking distance from JR Akihabara station, with 7-11 and Lawson and lot of food options nearby. Can't go wrong with APA hotels.
