Welcome to Kotori Akasaka!

Our home is a traditional Japanese farmhouse located a 5-minute walk from Akasaka Station on the Tokyo Metro Chiyoda Line. You can walk to some of Tokyo’s top tourist spots, such as Roppongi and Aoyama. Our home is the perfect base for exploring Tokyo.

You’ll have exclusive use of the entire house. With three separate bedrooms, four double beds, and one sofa bed, the house can comfortably accommodate up to eight guests. It’s ideal for families and groups.

Renovated in 2025, it’s now a clean and comfortable space. Please enjoy your stay in this cosy environment where modern furniture harmonises with the charm of a traditional Japanese house.

★ Smoking is strictly prohibited inside the unit. If you are found smoking, you will be charged a 30,000 yen fine.

【Kitchen】
The kitchen is fully equipped with various cooking utensils, so you can cook just as you would at home. There is a supermarket just a few minutes’ walk away.
Kitchen appliances include a refrigerator, rice cooker, microwave, and electric kettle.
Cooking utensils include frying pans, pots, cutting boards, knives, bowls, colanders, spatulas, ladles, measuring cups, cling film, etc.
Tableware includes plates, rice bowls, wine glasses, mugs, glasses, spoons, forks, knives, and chopsticks—all provided in quantities sufficient for the number of guests.
*For hygiene reasons, please bring your own seasonings and other condiments. You can purchase them at a nearby supermarket.

We have a large-capacity washer-dryer. We provide detergent and fabric softener, so you can do your laundry just as you would at home.

From Akasaka Station, it takes 6 minutes by train to Harajuku and Meiji Shrine (Meiji-jingumae Station), 6 minutes to Ginza (Hibiya Station), and 9 minutes to Otemachi (Tokyo Station).

Using the Ginza Line, you can reach Shibuya in 5 minutes and Asakusa in 27 minutes.

① 1 and a half by limousine bus to Akasaka-Mitsuke, then accessible on foot

Other Notes
Check-in:
Please check in between 4:00 PM and 10:00 PM.
Although located right in the heart of the city, the surrounding area is a very quiet residential area. To avoid disturbing local residents, please refrain from checking in after 9:00 PM. If you will be arriving after 9:00 PM, please notify the host in advance.

Check-out:
Please vacate the room by 10:00 AM.
Cleaning staff will arrive after 10:00 AM. If you have not checked out by 10:00 AM, you will be charged a penalty of 2,000 yen for every 15 minutes you overstay.

Important notes regarding the area outside the entrance:
To prevent disputes with nearby residents, socialising outside the entrance is limited to before 9:00 PM.

Smoking:
Smoking, including e-cigarettes, is strictly prohibited inside the rooms and outside the entrance.

Information for Guests Staying Multiple Nights:
・Towels and sheets are not replaced; please wash them in the washing machine and reuse them.
・Please note that we do not provide cleaning services during your stay.

[Important]
This is a very quiet residential area. Please keep noise to a minimum after 9:00 PM. In the event that we receive a complaint regarding excessive noise, you may be asked to vacate the premises. Please be aware of this in advance.
We ask that you strictly adhere to these rules.

Security Cameras:
In accordance with government guidelines, a security camera is installed outside the entrance.

Other:
Please also strictly adhere to the following rules. Violators may be subject to a fine.
1. If the room is excessively soiled due to inappropriate use, an additional cleaning fee may be charged.
2. If any lost or damaged amenities are discovered, you may be charged for the cost.
3. If the number of guests exceeds the number registered, an additional fee of 20,000 yen per person will be charged. (We will verify the number of guests using the security camera at the entrance.)
4. Please sort your trash according to the instructions on the trash bins.
5. Smoking inside the rooms is strictly prohibited.
6. We can only ship lost items on a collect-on-delivery basis. In such cases, we will charge a shipping fee of 3,000 yen.
7. We cannot dispose of large items such as suitcases. If you happen to leave any behind when you check out, we will charge a disposal fee of 10,000 yen.
8. We generally do not accommodate early check-in or late check-out requests.
9. We do not issue refunds or accept cancellations based on subjective judgements regarding odours, stains, mould, etc.
During your stay, you may be affected by external environmental factors such as construction noise in the vicinity, daily living noises from neighbouring residents, or temporary odours. As these are external factors beyond our control, we cannot offer refunds, discounts, or other accommodation based on such circumstances.
We ask for your understanding of this policy before making a reservation.
10. For foreign nationals without a residential address in Japan, in accordance with applicable laws, we require you to provide your name, address, nationality, and passport number, and to present your passport. If you refuse to do so, you will not be permitted to stay.
11. Please be mindful not to set the volume of the TV, music, etc., too high. In particular, please keep the windows closed after 9:00 p.m. Parties are strictly prohibited.

Regarding the Guest Register:
We have been instructed by the public health centre to provide information on “all guests.”

We request this information so that we can provide it to public health centers and the police in the event of a pandemic or terrorist attack. It will not be used for any other purpose.

We appreciate your understanding and cooperation.

Regarding check-in procedures:
There is no on-site manager at this facility.
We will send you the smart key code in advance; please enter the code into the device located at the entrance. Also, please do not leave the door open except when entering or exiting.
