Was off to a rocky start. The room configuration made half the bed inaccessible. Hotel was sold out so when spoke to owner by phone and she did not care just told us that we would be charged. Another owner came to show us that is was possible to split the beds past the steel beam. Still had to step over the beam every time. Once reconfigured it was acceptable but not enjoyable

I stayed for 7 nights in hotel Meksiko. My room was facing the hospital so up until 9pm, you can sometimes hear the helicopter landing on the top of the hospital. Plus: 1 min to Hofer (Aldi) 12-15 mins from bus station / city centre. Staff were fab. Hotel is not manned 24/7, so after 8 or 9pm, you will need a code to access it. The breakfast is basic, and the same each day; and some food (ie oranges, bananas etc) are cut so as not to be taken away to eat on the journey. The room, although they changed my towels when asked, the floor was not hoovered, and I could still see crumbs or hair from days before. The room however was spacious and had a fridge in it, which was wonderful. The air con was also a gift. They had enough plugs in the room. Shower kept wetting floor even when shower door was closed. Toilet buttons would often get stuck and I would need to pull them out for it to function again. Wish they had a kettle in the room. Good stay - especially for my last min trip and budget wise. For me - the hotel is a bit too far out from the centre, but met my basic needs.
