The French Country- Private Lake 3 Min Walk

"We really enjoyed our time in Carnation. The home was really cute and had a ton of thoughtful accents/details. I've never seen a better stocked kitchen at a rental - it had everything you'd need to cook. My toddler loved the pool table and all the children books. I loved that there was a bed with a railing. Definitely recommend staying here if you're looking for a nice getaway in Washington."

"Great location right on the lake. The house is somewhat dated as others have mentioned but we felt it added to the charm. We stayed in the basement unit and, as others have mentioned, it does have a smell to it but it's not bad. I wasn't aware that the dock, kayaks, etc. as well as the hot tub are shared with other guests. We didn't have any problems with being able to use anything. There is a large dog that is off leash but the owners worked out a schedule with us so it wasn't a problem. His name is Buck and he is SUPER nice. Overall we had a nice time."

"Everything about this place was wonderful. The host was very communicative, and made the place welcoming. There were so many thoughtful touches. Our favorite was the pillow bar, with many options to choose from. Our grandchildren also appreciated all the yummy snacks they left out. The property is beautiful and well tended. The house was clean and well appointed. We’d definitely return."

"Host was extremely responsive and timely with all communications. Having AC was important to me due to the heat wave during last summer. The layout of the apartment was a split level. It took a bit of getting used to as the bathroom and kitchen sink were located on the second floor. Bathroom was nice, spacious and clean"
