Passamos uns belos cinco dias em família nesta casa com uma linda vista para a serra da estrela. Aproveitamos para passear pela ecopista que fica mesmo em frente da casa. Os quartos são muito confortáveis e prontos para as baixas temperaturas do inverno. Do terraço ouvimos bem o som do rio a correr.. Esperamos voltar um dia.

Lugar do Pego is een heerlijk huis, een aanrader voor rust en natuur! Wij huurden met 7 personen (5 volwassenen en 2 jongens van 15) het gehele huis en dat was zeer prettig. Heerlijk rustig in de natuur en genoten van het uitzicht. Het huis is mooi ontworpen, prima verzorgd, zeer schoon en alles is aanwezig. De kamers hebben fijne bedden en heerlijke douches. De keukens zijn voorzien van alles wat wij nodig hadden. Op de buitenplaatsjes konden we altijd buiten zitten en eten, omdat er mogelijkheden zijn in de zon of juist in de schaduw. Caroline is een zeer prettige gastvrouw, ze deed erg haar best om aan onze wensen te voldoen en onze vragen te beantwoorden. Lugar do Pego is ook een prima plek om de omgeving te verkennen. In de buurt (waarvoor je wel een auto nodig hebt) is het dorp Tondela met restaurants en een supermarkt. We hebben prachtig gewandeld op de Caramulo op een half uurtje rijden. Er zijn diverse wandelingen in de omgeving (wel navragen bij de Tourist Office welke na de branden nog begaanbaar zijn) en het huis ligt bijna aan de oude spoorlijn die nu een prima fietspad is. Onze jongens vonden het huis heerlijk, maar “te stil” en misten een zwembad, maar in Tondela is een mooi openbaar zwembad (wel badmuts verplicht) en zwemmen in de rivier in de omgeving kan ook. Als je op zoek bent naar een heerlijk rustig vakantiehuis in de natuur is Lugar do Pego zeker een aanrader!

Wij verbleven in een van de twee huizen, die er naast elkaar staan, het andere huis was niet bezet. Het is een heerlijk rustige locatie met een prachtig uitzicht richting oosten. Het huis is goed geoutilleerd, met een heerlijk bed, een heerlijke douche en een prima werkbare keuken. En een groot terras. Op nog geen 100 meter loopt onderlangs de Dao Ecopista een wandel- en fietspad van 50 km, waar eerder een spoorlijn lag, makkelijk te befietsen (fietsen te huur bij eigenaar) en landschappelijk prachtig. In het nabije Tonda meerdere leuke rstaurantjes en alle nodige winkels in het ook nabije Tondela. Verder veel mogelijkheden voor (dag)tochten naar hoger gelegen wandelgebieden en mooie steden, zoals Viseu en Coimbra. Tenslotte, een Nederlandse eigenaar, die echt haar best doet het verblijf zo aangenaam mogelijk te maken.

Séjour entre amis avec des enfants au Portugal. Très bon accueil par la propriétaire. Agréable maison, avec un super point de vue. Maison à la campagne, avec services et resto proches. Bien équipée ( Manque une machine à laver et des rideaux occultants). Nous la recommandons ++++
