"We stayed in July during the hottest days and the worst of the forest fire smoke. When we were in the cabin, we never smelled the smoke and even though there were multipe window AC units the downstairs one really kept the place comfortable. It was very clean and well maintained. There is a water softener and filter but if you are not used to drinking well water they even had a purified water dispenser. The cement patio was beautiful. The owners were very friendly, responsive and respectful. We stayed their while attending a music festival so our only regret was not having time to enjoy the hot tub, the nearby restaurant or the lake. We would definitely recommend it to anyone."

"We had the BEST stay here. We were just doing a friends get-together and this house/lot were perfect for it. The house is absolutely massive and has tons of hang out areas, plenty of bedrooms, and bathroom options. The lot on the river is fantastic, with tons of rooms for activities and fires on the lawn. The location is great, within 3 hours of the Twin Cities. We would definitely stay again."

"Very nice home. We may use it again next year. Plenty of space for the 7 of us. Grandkids loved the kayaks and paddleboat. Reasonable price for a nice home with lots of fun options."

"Keep in mind that this is a rustic style cabin. and that means rustic style amenities such as a wood cook stove etc. But this is a large room with separate bathroom. The rooms are clean, bright and airy with an openness feeling to it. The porch is inviting to sit at. The location is very close to a lot of recreational activities such as fishing, kayaking, biking and Brunet State Park. And safe. I would stay here again. And its in Cornell, WI"
