Sound proofing between apartments is disgraceful

walked in to the house after driving 1000klms... the neightbour that shares a paper thin wall had their tv on... could hear it as clear as crystal thru the timber wall. the property manager was good to give us a refund and we where lucky to be able to get another house at short notice but as far as im concerned its an unrentable house as it is
