Motel 6 San Antonio, TX - Fiesta

"Overall, this isn't a bad option considering the price (much lower than anything else on this night that I could see). It is largely what I expected for a very much budget hotel. Everything worked and the pool was pretty good (clean and open etc...) But it's very, very basic... Basic and pretty old/worn out and not fixed. The additional lock on the door appeared to have had been kicked in recently and wasn't fixed. The small TV worked but all channels were scrambled/didn't match the guide (20 channels or so in total) and was housed in a half-rigged plywood box with cobwebs all over it. Beds were ok considering price but bumpy, thin mattress and pillows and not didn't feel fresh by any means although appeared to be clean (no obvious stains, just low-qual fabric and didn't smell nice). Overall, the room had a bad smell, although I got used to it soon and it didn't bother me. Couldn't figure out if it was mold or marijuana or a mix of but it was fine. I don't think breakfast is offered, which is fine as I'd rather not feel compelled to eat the awful but complimentary breakfast. Walls very thin. Guy in room next door coughing sounded like he was in same room as me. I have never stayed in a Motel6 before, although I think I've stayed in pretty much every other budget hotel/motel, so I don't know how this compares to other Motel 6's. Compared to other budget places it's on the low end... Anyway, lots of things that could be made better, but I came away feeling OK for price."

"CONS - Felt room and bathroom couldve been cleaner. Shower)tub needs non-slip strips. Slippery when using bath soap. There were strands of hair on the carpet in room and on floor of bathroom- housekeeping needs to vac better and sweep up in bath area. Bath towels appeared "dingy" in color;need to be replaced with newer ones. Low water pressure. Fixtures in sink and shower weren't cleaned well- not shiny, had soap scum or residue from previous room cleaning products on them . Unaware of $5 Parking fee and incident(s) fee of $100 due at ck-in. Hallway carpet needs cleaning Paint touch up needed on walls in certain spots in my room PROS- Great location! Less than 10 min from Fiesta, TX, UTSA, and The Rim shopping. Lots of restaurants. Close to Pallisade movie theatre. Lite breakfast choices- oatmeal, bagels, boiled eggs, juice, coffee, tea bags Staff helpful in listening to CONS. They're to speak with housekeeping A/C cold- took small fan to reduce any noise from hallway and aid in sleep/comfort Nite lite in bath to provide dim lighting"
