"Clean, quiet hotel in a convenient location. The suite had a nice kitchenette area that we appreciated. Some parts are a bit dated, but overall it's a nice place to stay for a few nights. "

"You definitely get what you pay for, but I will be double-checking reviews more carefully from now on. Expedia showed several high ratings, so I’m not sure if we were given the worst room available, but it was a very disappointing experience. At first glance, the room looked clean when we walked in. However, within seconds, we were hit with a terrible smell—like the room had been cleaned with a dirty rag and old mop water. The odor was overwhelming and seemed like mold. There was visible mold on the curtains and even on the lamp. The bed sheets were stained and had cigarette burns, the carpet was dirty, and the bathroom was in very poor condition. The shower had what looked like smeared dead bugs, a stain that resembled blood, and the ceiling above it was deteriorating. The photos online are very misleading and do not reflect the actual condition of the room. I do not recommend staying here. The smell was so bad that we had to turn the AC on very cold just to make it slightly more bearable. I even had to cover my nose with a blanket to sleep because the odor was so strong it burned my nose. It was so persistent that it lingered on one of our plastic bags. Never again. "

"Room smelled horrible. The air conditioning sounded like a space ship was taking off. Stayed the weekend and housekeeping never came. Our kitchen sink clogged and we never used it. Tv in our room didn’t work. "

"I had a great experience during my recent stay at the Hilton Garden Inn Waco, and I have to give a special shoutout to Dave. His level of customer service was truly exceptional. Even though I booked through a third-party and ran into issues that kept me on the phone for hours, Dave took the time, late at night, to step in and help resolve everything. My plans changed unexpectedly, and I had family staying with me. He went above and beyond to upgrade my room and make sure we were comfortable. It’s rare to find someone who genuinely cares and takes ownership like that, especially when the hotel didn’t directly cause the situation. Dave made all the difference in turning a stressful situation into a great stay. Highly recommend this location, and big thanks again to Dave for taking care of us. "
