"The property has obviously been well used as it is quite a bit more “worn” than we remember it from 2 previous stays. The room had two obviously worn (as in *bare*) spots right outside the bathroom door, and the pattern of the carpet was so faded as to be no pattern at all. Room is accommodating, and there is even a safe; note the “mini bar” is in reality a fridge as there was zero stock inside to tide us over to dinner.
Staff remains very helpful - from the desk clerk who checked us in to Concierge Ishmael who pointed us to the right entity to get tickets into Paris from the airport.
Had dinner at the bar, where the staff was somewhat less attentive, and the food was food - disappointingly limited selection of expensive wines (for what they were) from which to choose - not that we were looking for anything exotic."
