It's morphed from a very nice hotel to an average hotel. It needs renovating(not just some paint and tile to cover up the old surfaces). I've been staying at this hotel for close to 20 years, as its location is very good.

Stay went great except for two maintenance issues: the AC was not working in the room & the hairdryer was broken but otherwise. We felt very comfortable in the room & hotel.

The staff's attitude: through out our stay, we get the feeling that every time when we ask the staff to remedy something, they always find a way to let us know that we are bothering them. Theses include the front desk staff, cleaning staff. For example, when we asked for a room change on the first day, the front desk told us they can't do it, because the room on the same floor were all sold, when in fact, half of the floor were not occupied. Twice in a week, the cleaning staff did not vacuum our room and did not clean the bathtub. You can still see all the hairs and debris after cleaning. The vending room/ microwave room was a total mess, it looks like it was not cleaned for a long time. food, food wrapping, garbage were every where in the room. Balcony was extremely dirt, debris every where. The balcony door barely open. Broken concrete, moss, leaves etc. Broken tiles & window glasses at the outside entrance of the lobby., lobby textured ceiling was not repaired, landscaping around the property were not kept. Too much to listed. Out of our stay, the bright side were the lobby bar, front lobby and hallway areas were renovated. In all, too much to list. It will need a lot of improvement to make the hotel a five start hotel.

A clean, safe, economical hotel in Toronto. Easy to park and close to all attractions without being too pricey. Air conditioning in our room was noisy (the fan rattled really bad) and the shower didn’t have a non-slip mat or anything, which was concerning for my elderly mother. Overall we were very happy with our stay.

I recently stayed at Pan Pacific Hotel and had an absolutely wonderful experience. The staff were incredibly attentive and friendly, making me feel welcome from the moment I arrived. The room was spacious, clean, and well-appointed, with a comfortable bed that ensured a great night's sleep. The hotel amenities, including the pool and gym, were top-notch and provided a relaxing way to unwind after a busy day. The hotel has amenities you wouldn't expect, like the little shop on the main floor and the small spa. The space has a very corporate vibe and is impeccably clean. Housekeeping is lovely and the room was very spacious. The bed gave me one of the best sleeps in quite a while. The elevators are incredibly slow though, and the parking is a little walk away.

We stayed with our dog for only one night. The room backed onto a grass covered court yard which we could access. That access was terrific for our dog as we could take the dog out and allow her to walk about. The room itself was not dissimilar to other hotel rooms although the mattress was very comfortable. Requests for service were answered quickly and very politely. Great grounds.

This hotel is very nice, with nice, friendly staff. But most of the elevators were out of service on our stay. It would be nice to have free parking. Plus, what’s with all the Mercedes Benz and Porsches parked out front? I don’t know if this was a trick to show that rich people stay there, but they can park in the lot with the rest of us poorer folk.

We had ants in our bathroom and the toilet was difficult to flush. The verandah was dirty. My daughter left an item behind accidentally. I asked both the front desk and housekeeping to return my call to let me know if the item could be located. Silence from both departments. A disappointing stay!
