The room I was in was quite dated and required a number of repairs, including the thermostat. I could not change the temperature at night which led to a poor night’s sleep. I think the location is good and the price is reasonable. Having the Bangkok Garden next door is a plus! The breakfast in the restaurant was also delicious. Limited wifi in public areas was a disappointment considering I was there for business. I would stay here again in hopes of having a better room next time.

Staff were very friendly. Front desk staff member Tristan was very helpful, polite and efficient! Definitely an asset to your team! The rooms although clean require some upgrading. In one of our rooms none of the lamps worked - burnt out bulbs and broken light bulbs.

There was major ventilation issues in our room. Besides the fact that the PTAC vent slats had months worth of dust (when the dust starts absorbing oil from the air and is gummy that is a not good thing). We set the PTAC unit to fan, but it only randomly turned on in the night for an hour and then stopped - the room got so hot we had to open the balcony for air and Yonge/Dundas in Toronto is a 24/7 party all year round, so loud! We didn't get a good night's sleep. I know we booked a smaller room, but considering this hotel is double what most economy hotels are, it was not worth the money. The only thing we really liked was the indoor water slide - that was super awesome! The teen arcade has machines that ate a third of our loonies without operating and was hot as hell being right beside the pool. We didn't go to the super expensive breakfast place - not when there are a zillion cheaper cafes right outside the entrances. Also, the hallways to the rooms have occasional hidden bumps I was constantly tripping on - what is up with that?
