My unit on the 16th floor was spotless. The check-in instructions were very clear, the property was easy to find. The location itself could not be better: there are various cafes, restaurants, grocery stores available, it is a short walk to the Union station and to the harbor.
It's an amazing stay! The place is extremely clean and has everything we need from the kitchen, bathroom, and bedroom. The location is amazing as well; it is a few steps from Scotiabank Arena, where we attended a concert. We will definitely stay here again next time we visit Toronto. The Rivetstay team is very responsible. We reached out with a question, and they responded immediately. Thank you!
The elevator is crowded, but we did not have to wait long. It's a reasonable time to use the elevator.
Bathroom faucet was not working properly. Bedroom light would not turn on. Overall the place was not well cleaned. Can be a pain to get to your floor as the elevators were always a very long wait, sometimes up to 15+ minutes.
It was however a nice location downtown and was located close to many attractions.
I was a little apprehensive at first when I booked, because of the buildings reputation but was very impressed and pleased with the experience. It is a great location and the staff were wonderful, they gave us incredible instructions and answered any questions I had and were quick to help when I messaged them online. The room was pretty clean, it could use a little bit more of a deep clean but I honestly have no real complaints about it. The view was amazing as well, we were lucky enough to get a lake view and it made our night. I would recommend especially if you’re staying short term in Toronto and want more than just a regular hotel room.
I had an overall positive experience staying at this Airbnb. The location was one of the biggest highlights it was conveniently situated downtown and within easy walking distance of many popular tourist attractions, restaurants, and shops.
The apartment itself was comfortable and met most of my expectations. However, I felt that the cleanliness could have been a bit better upon arrival, as a few areas appeared to need more attention. While this did not significantly impact my stay, it is an area where improvement would be appreciated. Parking was a bit confusing but after a while we got the hang of it.
Overall, I would still recommend this property to future guests, especially those looking for a convenient and central location. With a few improvements to housekeeping, this could easily be a five-star stay.
The location is unbeatable — walking distance to the CN Tower, Ripley's Aquarium, Rogers Centre, Scotiabank Arena, and Union Station. Even the ferry terminal to the Toronto Islands is about a 10-minute walk away. The apartment itself is neat, clean, and a good size.
That said, a few things to keep in mind. The listing accommodates 4 people, but the setup is really only comfortable for 2 — there's a queen bed and a sofa bed, and the sofa is very hard and not comfortable for two adults. The blackout curtains don't do their job, so the morning sun hits you right in the face. Also, there were no clean towels in the closet when we arrived — we had to grab the ones left in the washing machine, along with bedsheets that were also sitting in the laundry.
Check-in was easy, but only one key was provided for 4 guests, which forced us to stay together the whole time. Offering at least 2 keys would make a big difference for groups.
Overall, a good place in an amazing location — I'd happily recommend it for 2 people, but not for 4.
Booked this hotel by mistake. I was intending to book at "Lum the Queen" but by the time I realised my mistake it was too late - 2 hotels with very similar names. I was a bit apprehensive because I could only find 1 review. Got an email with precise checkin instructions which worked perfectly. Input the code I received into a bank of lockboxes, and out came the key. We were given unit 1304, and I was totally blown away. Ultra modern apartment with 3 double bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, living room and fully equipped kitchen and even a washing machine and dryer. Everything was there to make it a perfect stay - masses of additional towels, pillows and bedding. Air conditioning worked perfectly. Only possible downside is that the block overlooks the Gardiner Expressway so if you are very sensitive to traffic noise it might be an issue. For what we paid this was a total steal. Would definitely stay again. In fact I tried to extend our stay but they were sold out.
⭐⭐⭐⭐☆
Overall, we had a great stay and would definitely consider staying here again. The room was very clean, and the view of the CN Tower was absolutely amazing—it was easily one of the highlights of our trip.
From check-in to check-out, communication was excellent. We especially appreciated the clear, detailed instructions for both the check-in and checkout process, which made everything simple and stress-free. When we reported that the shower handle came off while trying to turn on the shower, the team acknowledged our concern promptly and let us know they would have someone take a look at it. We appreciated that our concern wasn’t ignored.
There were just a few minor maintenance items that could use some attention. Throughout the night, there was a recurring beeping sound from what seemed to be an alarm or detector that we couldn’t locate, which made it a little difficult to sleep. The toilet flush buttons were also sticking, making the toilet a little difficult to flush at times. We also had a little trouble figuring out the air conditioner, so the room got a bit warm overnight. That may very well have been user error on our part, but it might be helpful to have clearer operating instructions available for future guests.
Overall, these were relatively small issues and didn’t take away from an otherwise enjoyable stay. The room was clean, the communication and customer service
Great location, excellent communication, great stay.

After booking with Expedia, we received a message to send the “hotel” our personal email address to receive instructions. We were surprised to find out that the location was different from what was originally posted on Expedia, but it was still two blocks away from Rogers Centre so we were okay with that. The purpose of our trip was to go watch a Blue Jays game so it was conveniently located.
We ended up having an apartment on West Wellington. It was not hotel. It was a privately owned apartment managed by a company with a concierge in the lobby. The management company provided clear instructions on how to access the apartment and parking lot. We thought the parking spot they gave us was already occupied (there was a car parked). So we called the number provided in the instructions and a nice gentleman tried to help us. In the end, it was our own mistake since there were two parking spots with the same number, except one of them had Romain number 2 (II) above the parking stall number.
The apartment was okay. Comfortable with everything we needed for one night. Our only complaint was that we were on the second floor facing an alley, and at 7 am a garbage truck came in the alley and emptied at least four large garbage dumpsters so it was very noisy with truck noise and beeping for a good ten minutes. It woke our kids up and they couldn’t fall back asleep…
The room was clean upon entrance. Very accommodating with our luggage and storing it for us. Friendly and courteous as well. Easy to get around from this location.
Felt more like an Airbnb than a hotel, access and instructions came through in multiple emails that were challenging to manage. The images showed while booking did not match the room I was given. The cost per night was deceptive given the property charges that were revealed at checkout. The room was nice enough though expensive for what was given. Upon arrival, the property staff were kind and helpful when reporting an issue with the property immediately. Not likely to book again for the reasons listed above.
