Misleading Listing.
I waited a while to post this review to see if the listing would change, but it hasn't. I informed the property manager about the following issue:
The biggest issue with this property is that it is listed as "entire home" when it is not. A family lives in the basement. You can hear them talking as the floors seem pretty thin and you can smell whenever they are cooking. A door to the basement that says "Do Not Open This Door" is the only thing that separates you.
Otherwise, the house is okay. The decorations are nice. There is plenty of space.
The beds are not very comfortable with pretty thin blankets. Towels are also very thin. The water gets warm, but not hot (I assume because the family downstairs shares the water). The bathtubs have any sort of plug removed. This seems intentional to keep people from using too much hot (warm) water.
There is some random junk in closets and other places. There were opened water bottles left out which was odd. The house also states you are allowed to fill two large trash bags during your stay, but no bags are provided. There's a washer and dryer, but no detergent. We had to buy our own paper towels.
A lot of this could be overlooked, but coupled with the realization that we were not alone on the property made this a disappointing stay. I hope the manager can fix some of these things and make the listing accurate, as it is a nice house in a nice area.
