"I needed to be in Plymouth for an event. While it’s only 17 miles away, I was so busy that day, and the day after I booked a hotel in town. When I saw a Moxy had opened I had to stay there. I was not disappointed. It’s in what I would call a developing part of the city. The parking (paid) provided by the hotel is a little small. However over the road is a large paid car park. The hotel itself has all the laid back, chilled vibe that you’d want and expect from a Moxy. It’s perfect for most kinds of get aways, regardless of your tribe. Best of all, the bed will wrap you up and send you into a perfect nights rest. Equivalent to a week in my old bed. I usually go budget and stay “Travelodge” or “Premier”. I’d now say push the boat out and upgrade. Enjoy. "

"Amazing stay, really helpful staff, great food and room. Hotel is located in an amazing bay, but the roads are quite narrow and hilly, but you can get i to town by hotel minibus or ferry . Would definitely go again"

"Fabulous beach front hotel. Good parking. Friendly and efficient staff. Room 23 on second floor at end of corridor (cosy but not big enough for more than 2 fit adults). I would recommend going through South Sands hotel to get the room you want. Breakfast was great and food at the hotel second to none (didn’t pay the optional 12.5 % service charge). Housekeeping provided a mattress topper the second day as the mattress was a bit too firm for us. Also gave us decaffeinated coffee and tea for the room. Good bar. Great outside seating overlooking the beach. Dog friendly. Can highly recommend. "
