"My wife and I booked a Deluxe King room but were disappointed with the facilities provided with the room. The external pool was closed. No information was provided in room regarding facilities available. Basic tea and coffee making facilities but nothing extra, like a biscuit! Some information on local facilities etc would have been appreciated. More effort was put into inviting us to a opportunities evening than providing facilities etc in a room that was extremely overpriced when compared to other places we have stayed at in recent times."

"Highly recommended. We did 3 nights over the Easter weekend with the kids and then the last 2 nights just us to celebrate our 25th wedding anniversary. The house just felt like home. We managed to have a swim in the pool. It was an excellent stay. Great location. Thank you very much."

"The Torquay Hotel has an excellent location, and we really enjoyed the food and drinks—everything we tried was great. The staff were super friendly and welcoming, which made the stay feel warm and easy. The room itself, however, was very old and definitely in need of updating. While it seemed generally clean, the carpets were quite worn and felt a bit gross. The bathroom had good water pressure, which was a plus, but the windows had a lot of spider webs around them, even though they were high up. Overall, the hotel has a lot of potential thanks to its location, great staff, and solid food and drink options, but the rooms would really benefit from some refreshing and deeper attention to detail."

"property was a little older than viewed with an average reno. doors jammed and gaps under external doors . could of been much cleaner even though it is older . one listing indicates three bathrooms and a sauna ?? bbq looked averagely clean but the 2 foot flames from the grill sections say something else . ruined all the sausages . games room old and dirty . could not find iron but did have ironing board . old spa outside ?? upside, plenty of space and seating good stocked kitchen but coffee machine with no pods at all. fairly close to outlets bowls club beach and town which was good . moved all dirty rubbish bins to get up side way so as to park 6 cars off street which was good. "
