"Lovely room, extremely comfortable bed, huge tv and nice bathroom. Important to note it is not designed for self-catering as all you get is tea making facilities, no microwave, plates or dishes etc. But there is a lovely restaurant downstairs, and room service. Underground parking is available but costs extra, so be sure to ask if required. EV charging also available in the carpark. Staff were all cheerful and friendly. "

"The Torquay Hotel has an excellent location, and we really enjoyed the food and drinks—everything we tried was great. The staff were super friendly and welcoming, which made the stay feel warm and easy. The room itself, however, was very old and definitely in need of updating. While it seemed generally clean, the carpets were quite worn and felt a bit gross. The bathroom had good water pressure, which was a plus, but the windows had a lot of spider webs around them, even though they were high up. Overall, the hotel has a lot of potential thanks to its location, great staff, and solid food and drink options, but the rooms would really benefit from some refreshing and deeper attention to detail."
