  • This cottage is nestled along the shores of Lake Erie in a small quite cottage community, right in the heart of epic wine Country. This cottage is perfect for a single person or a couple travelling to the area. Offers a beautiful view of Lake Erie, nice treed lot with firepit and hammock. Bikes for your enjoyment, if you wish to bike along the shore to wineries, beach, and local produce stands. The cottage is centrally located between Historical Amherstburg, beautiful Kingsville and Point Pelee National Park. There is so much to explore in the region. Fine dining, golf, bird watching, casino and so much more. Not wanting to tour around no problem, stay back and enjoy the many amenities that the cottage has to offer. Sit on the beautiful large deck to eat, have coffee, read whatever your pleasure maybe. Relax in the large treeed lot or play some yard games, hang out in the hammocks, great place for a nap while listening to lake. Many beautiful birds and if you are lucky you will see some amazing bald eagles. Nothing like ending your day sipping your favorite beverage by camp fire, not into building a fire. No problem sit lakeside and enjoy the fire table, best place to see the sunset over Lake Erie. The best part is retiring for the night with the windows open enjoy being lulled to sleep with the crashing of the waves and the beautiful lake breeze. The cottage is cozy but very well appointed. The dishes and cutlery were of prime quality compared to others we have experienced. We didn't use the bikes because we brought our own. The bbq worked well but we didn't use the tv or the stove. The kitchen was comprehensively equipped. It was well located and very quiet. The host was attentive, patient and helpful. It is within easy biking distance of two wineries.

We were there for three nights. Beautiful view of Lake Erie. Peaceful surroundings. Easy access to the sights, sounds and learning experiences of the Harrow Agricultural Fair.

A Little Slice of Heaven

We had an incredibly relaxing long weekend thanks to the location and comfort of the cottage. The cottage is so cute and stocked with everything you need and more. The deck is a perfect place to unwind. The area is quiet and seems remote, but wineries, restaurants, golf, and a market are close by. We can’t wait to visit again next year!

Perfect little getaway spot!

Loved this little cottage as soon as we drove up to it. Even more once we went inside. Beautifully decorated, and every single amenity you could possibly want. Great view super nice neighbours and the banana bread she left for us was fantastic. Paula was great at communication and we had a lovely relaxing time. Love this area so many things I want to see I will definitely be back.

Absolutely loved this cottage

Everything about this stay was fantastic! Paula has thought of everything!! The cottage is immaculate, beautiful decor and filled with everything you might need. We loved eating our meals on the deck and watching the gorgeous sunsets. We will definitely be back next summer! 10/10 ❤️

Awesome cottage and area to stay

The cottage and property was amazing.Super comfortable.Perfect size for two people. Super clean.It had everything you need and more.Great backyard with a fire pit.We enjoyed sitting across from the cottage on the bluffs where they have two chairs and a small fire pits.Beach was only couple of minutes away.We had amazing time there.I definitely recommend this Cottage.

Wonderful Cottage, Great location

Upon our arrival it was clear this cottage is well taken care of. Everything was spotlessly clean, lots of amenities and even a personal greeting sign. Paula was always available to answer any questions we had, which were quite limited as everything is very easy to find/use. The wineries in the area were fantastic, we particularly enjoyed North 42 and Viewpointe. The people nearby were also very friendly, we met a couple of locals and had some great conversations about the area, specifically the fishing. All of this along with some great restaurants in the town, made for an unforgettable experience. We are already planning our trip back, 5 stars because that's the maximum i can give.

Anniversary Getaway

This Hideaway was absolutely perfect for us on our anniversary. The cottage has everything one could ask for or need. So quiet and serene especially sitting out front and looking out onto Lake Erie. Paula and Jim have quite the gem here and were always reachable. Walking distance to Colchester beach, restaurants and wineries. Had a few flights at The Crew winery, very delicious! Bikes are provided to reach those other wineries that are just out of walking distance. Great, friendly neighbours that were more than happy to suggest any points of interest. This cottage is 100 out of 100 for us, can't wait to come back. A+++ Thank you very much!
