Gorgeous and quaint mountain cabin
The cabin is ideally located in quiet Townsend away from the craziness of Gaitlinburg, yet still within 40 minutes of pretty much any hiking trail. We loved the balcony, the fireplace, the grill, and Jacuzzi. What I would recommend is that the kitchen be better equipped as we had to supply our own garbage bags, foil, salt and pepper, olive oil and vinegar, even a chefs’ knife as there would have been no way to prepare food with the knifes they had. The two wine bottle openers were broken. The holder for the shower head was also broken and it fell and hit my friend in the face during her shower. Overall I loved this cabin and would book again, but the hosts should consider a better equipped kitchen for those who like and know how to cook.
