The greeting at reception was extremely polite and friendly, the staff were polite and respectful of privacy and open to help in any way possible. Rooms were very clean and as was the rest of the property.
A grand old gem that I consider myself fortunate to have stumbled across. I have booked in for my next stay and plan to stay again when I am in Townsville.
Great staff, clean, safe and ticks all of my boxes.
I wasn't used to a shared toilet and shower, but the other occupants were very amenable and the overall experience was good. If you are used to the shared amenities this is a very good option.
The staff went above and beyond to ensure that we had the best possible experience. We were even picked up from the ferry terminal when public buses were not running due to flooding. Dinner in the upstairs dining area was a great opportunity to meet fellow guests/travellers
Nice family business, they can't help that visitors think calling Africa at 3 am but forgetting they have a phone- so not need to scream to be heard...
