"This was genuinely the best stay I have ever had. The room and facilities were great, the food was utterly amazing, and the staff were so welcoming and caring. I spent four nights here and I wish I could stay for longer. While it’s a bit expensive, it is worth every yen. The staff was so helpful and made sure every second I spent there was incredible. I really cannot recommend this place enough!"

"We booked this ryokan to get an authentic high-class Japanese experience and that's exactly what we got. We slept on tatami mats on the floor in a large room; we had our own private dining room where a huge variety of gourmet quality food was served for dinner; we used a very clean large onsen in the hotel which had both indoor and outdoor pools; we could help ourselves to water, tea and coffee any time we wanted. The staff were extremely helpful, including providing a shuttle service into town any time we needed it. What we missed was a comfortable chair or sofa to relax in and we didn't find a single English-language channel on the TV (a minor issue)."

"We had a wonderful stay at Nishimuraya hotel. The staff were warm and welcoming throughout. The room was beautifully presented and the facilities including onsen were outstanding. The Kaiseki meal experience was wonderful. The vegan option was very well presented but not all dishes had a rich flavour."

"From the minute we arrived we felt so cared for. Kaki and Harada-san were so welcoming and helpful in orienting us, showing us to our room, and showing us how to wear the yukata. We reserved the private onsen and were very glad we did. We greatly enjoyed our stay and wish we could have stayed longer."

"Fantastic hotel. Prime location, beautiful outlook onto the river and mountain behind. Beautiful interiors and rooms. Fantastic restaurant - we enjoyed breakfast and dinner and an evening drink up there. Kinosaki onsen itself is lovely we visited 3 onsen with the pass that they provided us. Highly recommend a 2 night stay. Easy train tourney from Osaka."

Their hospitality truly elevated the entire experience. The room was spotless, comfortable, and beautifully maintained, offering the perfect place to relax after exploring Kinosaki Onsen. The location couldn’t have been better—just a short walk from the famous bathhouses, restaurants, and the charming canal, making it incredibly easy to enjoy everything this wonderful town has to offer. One of our favorite parts of the stay was being able to immerse ourselves in the unique atmosphere of Kinosaki while returning each evening to such a peaceful and comfortable hotel. Every interaction with the staff reflected the warmth and care for which Japan is known. If you’re planning a visit to Kinosaki Onsen, I can’t recommend this hotel highly enough. It combines outstanding service, comfort, and an ideal location to create a truly unforgettable experience. We would gladly stay here again and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend it to anyone visiting this beautiful town."

"The location of the ryokan was great as it was just a few minutes walking from the station. It’s also very close to the most popular of the seven onsens. The staff are also extremely nice and the old lady who led me to my room and served me tea was very kind and caring. I highly recommend this ryokan for how good it is and a price that really can’t be beat. Also you get a pass to all of the onsens once you check in. Highly recommend "
