Apartment No. 3 - attic
The top floor apartment is one of the gems of Haus Weihertor. The apartment with a mezzanine offers space for up to four people and was only completely refurbished in 2016. The characteristics of the historic building were retained with much love and a cozy atmosphere was created with the exposed wooden beams and the color scheme.

Our three holiday apartments are located in a typical one hundred and fifty year old Moselle house with a traditional slate facade, which stands on a historic wine cellar. We offer you an ideal starting point to explore Traben-Trarbach and the surrounding landscape. The apartment is centrally located in Trarbach, the nearest winery with an ostrich is only 30m away, other wineries are located throughout the town. The town center and the Moselle can be reached in just a few steps, the district of Traben on the other side of the Moselle is only a short walk away.

Alles bestens :-)
Die Wohnung ist so beschrieben, alles was man braucht vorhanden. Handtücher wurden auch zwischendurch gewechselt. Lage ist gut, das meiste fussläufig zu erreichen. Leider gab es keinen Bäcker in umliegender Nähe aber auch das war nicht schlimm.
Man kann viel von hier aus unternehmen, kleine Wanderungen oder auch Fahrräder leihen. Außerdem wirklich sehr nette Vermieter und ganz einfacher Check-In!
Insgesamt ein ganz erholsamer Urlaub! Gerne wieder! :-)

schönes Apartment
Gut ausgestattetes, sauberes, schönes Apartment.
Einziges Manko war das Bett direkt unter dem Dach bei 30° C Tagestemperatur ohne Möglichkeit zu lüften. Trotz zur Verfügung gestelltem Ventilator waren die Nächte ziemlich warm.
Wir kommen gerne wieder.

Ein Stern Abzug, weil...
Die Lage der Wohnung kann nicht besser sein. Restaurants und Straußenwirtschaft in der gleichen Straße. Wanderwege u. a. nach Bernkastel Kues starten quasi vor der Haustür. Die Wohnung ist sehr schön, sauber und entspricht den Erwartungen und den Fotos. Ein Minuspunkt ist jedoch die Größe der Schlafcouch. Diese ist eher für 1 Erwachsenen
ausgerichtet. Somit haben die zwei kleinsten Personen von uns dort geschlafen. Dies war OK.
Das große Fenster im Wohnzimmer geht aus der Angel und müsste mal repariert werden. Die Gläser sind genau abgezählt. Ein zusätzliches, wäre vielleicht auch nicht schlecht. Ein Weinglas fehlte.
Wäre nicht das Thema Schlafcouch, hätten wir alle Sterne vergeben.

Schöne, sehr gepflegte Ferienwohnung in zentraler Lage
Alles sehr sauber und gut eingerichtet. Handtücher (2 große, 2 kleine) nicht großzügig.
Ich habe immer sehr gerne eines für die Hände extra...
Die Matratze auf dem Bett im Dachboden ist so hart, dass wir darauf nicht schlafen wollten. Da wir keine Anleitung für das Schlafsofa vorgefunden hatten, war Experimentieren nötig.
Schade war, dass es entweder nicht möglich war, die Temperatur der Heizkörper zu verstellen oder zumindest keine Anleitung dazu vorgefunden wurde.
Auf dem Dachboden des Hauses lebt ein Marder, Waschbär oder wer sonst, der sollte vergrämt werden, den er hat uns durch seine nächtlichen Aktivitäten doch den Schlaf gestört und in der ersten acht auch richtig erschreckt.
Wir gehe aber davon aus, dass diesem Mitbewohner "gekündigt" wird und würden bei einem nächsten Besuch in der gegend gerne in diese Wohnung zurückkkehren, wenn es klappt.
