Cosy holiday cabin perfect for older children and family in the Moselle Valley

We were an extended family group of 3 adults and 2 children (11-15 yrs) and this was our first trip to the Moselle. We visited during August 2023 and chose this property for its location as one of the adults did not drive and wanted independent access to the local town/surrounding area. The property was spotlessly clean, efficient check in/out procedure and the owner responsive to queries/feedback whilst we were staying in property. The property is basic, some of the furnishings/equipment was dated (but it all worked perfectly well) and is effectively a cosy two story wooden cabin! But the property was perfect for our one week stay in the summer. Whilst the owner does flag this in the listing the steps to the property are uneven so I would not recommend this property to families with babies/toddlers or adults with access requirements. But for fit and healthy school age children and adults it's fine. There appeared to be sime external lights but this could be something to ask about before booking if you are staying at times when daylight hours become shorter. (But as we were high summer did not affect us). The shower is basic so whilst we had plenty of hot water and pressure this would be one room in the property that would make the biggest difference to upgrade. A microwave would also be really nice too. But otherwise it's a lovely spot with beautiful views and the owner was so very responsive and polite. Thank you.

Aufenthalt war sehr gut auch wenn man die Sachen über 40 Stufen zum Haus tragen muss .Von ein paar kleinen Details war es soweit voll in Ordnung

Herrlich

Wir haben den Aufenthalt dort sehr genossen, die Landstraße hat uns gar nicht gestört, die Aussicht war toll.Würde jederzeit wieder dorthin fahren.

Gemütlich und schön

Es war eine schöne Woche in dem gemütlichen Haus am Hang. Das Haus ist prima ausgestattet und geräumig. Für uns entschädigte der einmalige Blick auf Mosel mit dem auch für Kinder spannenden Schiffsverkehr für die kleine Unannehmlichkeit der gut hörbaren Bundesstraße. Insgesamt ein uriges Wohnerlebnis mit allem Komfort.

Kleines schön gelegenes Holzhaus

Schönes kleines Haus in Alleinlage. Tolle Aussicht auf Traben-Trarbach. Gute Anbindung an den Ort. Sehr freundlicher Kontakt mit dem Vermieter. Für 2 Personen ok. Bei mehreren ist es mangels bequemer Sitzgelegen innen und außen eher unbequem.

Top Lage

Wir hatten einen wundervollen Aufenthalt in diesem mit viel Liebe eingerichtetem Haus. Wir waren im März '24 in Traben-Trarbach, eine wunderschöne Gegend mit vielen Wanderwegen. Der Vermieter ist sehr hilfsbereit und nett, wir kommen auf jeden Fall wieder.

Schöner Wandeurlaub

Wir (Familie mit Teenies + Hund) haben unseren Urlaub im "Hexenhaus" sehr genossen! Das Haus ist rustikal, aber gerade sehr schick neu dekoriert worden. Es ist alles da, was man braucht und die Lage ist einfach toll! Man kann direkt vom Haus aus loswandern (unsere Favoriten: Festung Mont Royal und der Moseltalschanzen-Weg). Die Treppe zum Haus hoch ist etwas lästig, aber dafür hat man absolut seine Ruhe!

Toller Aufenthalt

Ein rustikales Holzhaus mit allem, was man braucht....nah zum Ort und mit einem traumhaften Blick auf die Mosel, den ich bereits vermisse:) Einziges Manko... der Grill war nicht sauber... Aber das hat den Urlaub absolut nicht verdorben...ich würde jederzeit wieder hinfahren.

Uriges Blockhaus mit Moselblick

Wir hatten einen ruhigen und entspannten Urlaub mit unserem Hund in dem urigen, alleinstehenden Häuschen. Der Ausblick von der Terasse auf die Mosel ist einfach traumhaft. In dem rustikalen Haus ist alles vorhanden, was man zur Selbstversorgung benötigt. Wlan ist ebenfalls vorhanden. Der Kontakt mit dem Vermieter war absolut unkompliziert. Uns hat es sehr gut gefallen und wir kommen gerne wieder!

Hyggelig hytte

Hyggelig og ren hytte med alt, vi havde brug for. Flot vellignende op ad skrænten ind i skoven. Hurtig gåtur til centrum med alt indenfor Jugendstil, spisesteder, vinhuse og masser af vandreruter. Dog blev idyllen for vores vedkommende temmelig forstyrret af hovedvejens trafikstøj og høj musik på p-pladsen nedenfor huset. Vi vil klart anbefale huset - og var der dør i stedet for forhæng, ville vi klart komme tilbage med hele familien.

Prachtige locatie

Wij zijn er 3 weken met de hond geweest. De ligging van het huis is perfect en bied veel privacy. Genoten van het uitzicht en Traben Trarbach ligt loopafstand. Moest even wennen aan het interieur, maar alles was aanwezig. Het zou fijn zijn als er een paar horren geplaatst zouden worden om vliegen buiten te houden. De 45 treden zijn best pittig

Wunderschön

Wir haben eine tolle Woche hier verbracht. Das Haus hat eine tolle Lage und es ist alles vorhanden was man braucht. Der Vermieter ist sehr nett und freundlich. Die Schlüsselübergabe unkompliziert. Eine wunderschöne Gegend wo wir bestimmt nicht zum letzten Mal waren.

Romantische Unterkunft

Dieses Haus hat wirklich diesen traumhaften Blick auf die Mosel und Traben-Trarbach. Es liegt am Rand der Stadt, etwas höher gelegen, malerisch in den Felsen. So ein Haus findet man selten. Und keine direkten Nachbarn! Im Haus ist alles, was man braucht. Ich war mit meinem Hund unterwegs - wir konnten schon direkt am Parkplatz auf dem ersten Wanderweg starten. Nach Traben-Trarbach ist es ein Fußweg von 10 Minuten bis zur Brücke. Es gibt überall in der Gegend genug Rad- und Fußwege sowie Parkplätze. Ich komme garantiert wieder!

Super Lage

Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt. Es fehlte uns nichts. Tolle Lage mit einer schönen Sonnenterasse und sehr schönen Ausblick auf die Mosel und die Weinberge.Freundlicher Vermieter und entspannter Check-In und Out. Guter Ausgangspunkt für Ausflüge jeglicher Art. Gerne wieder.

Gemütliches Ferienhaus in Alleinlage

Schnelle und gute Kommunikation vom Gastgeber. Nettes kleines Ferienhaus in Alleinlage und tollem Blick direkt auf die Mosel. Weg zum Ferienhaus allerdings nur über eine unebene und steile Treppe- für Menschen mit Einschränkungen nicht zu empfehlen. Geheizt wird das Haus nicht mit einer Ölheizung, wie in der Beschreibung sondern mit einem Pelletofen, den man selber bedienen muss. Die 15 kg Säcke der Pellets waren ausreichend vorhanden und der Gastgeber hat ein ausführliches Video dazu geschickt. Ein Zimmer mit Etagenbett hat keine Tür sondern nur einen Vorhang. Alles in allem hat uns der Aufenthalt sehr gefallen und wir würden das Haus jederzeit weiter empfehlen.

Erholsamer Urlaub in gemütlichem Ferienhaus in Top-Lage

Wir haben gemeinsam mit unserem Hund 1 Woche in dem Ferienhaus verbracht. Der Vermieter ist sehr freundlich und nett und hat uns zu Beginn das Ferienhaus gezeigt sowie alles erklärt. Das Ferienhaus hat uns auf ganzer Linie überzeugt. Es liegt in einer malerischen Umgebung direkt an der Mosel und bietet einen wunderschönen Ausblick auf die umliegenden Weinberge. Die Einrichtung des Hauses ist sehr gemütlich und liebevoll gestaltet, man fühlt sich direkt wie zuhause. Besonders positiv hervorzuheben ist die Sauberkeit des Hauses. Es war alles tip-top in Ordnung und sehr gepflegt. Auch die Ausstattung ließ keine Wünsche offen, es gab alles was man für einen entspannten Urlaub benötigt. Besonders schön fanden wir die Möglichkeit, auf der Terrasse zu sitzen und den Ausblick auf die Mosel zu genießen. Hier konnten wir uns herrlich entspannen und die Seele baumeln lassen. Die Lage des Ferienhauses ist perfekt für Ausflüge in die Umgebung. Traben-Trarbach bietet viele Möglichkeiten für Aktivitäten wie Wandern oder Fahrradfahren. Auch die umliegenden Städte wie Cochem oder Bernkastel-Kues sind einen Besuch wert. Alles in allem können wir das Ferienhaus an der Mosel in Traben-Trarbach uneingeschränkt weiterempfehlen.

Toller Ausblick

Wir haben eine sehr schöne Woche in diesem süßen Häuschen verbringen dürfen. Das tolle an dem Haus ist der schöne Ausblick über die Mosel und die Weinberge. Im Haus hat man alles, was man braucht und kann es sich abends auf der schönen Terrasse gutgehen lassen. Wir würden wiederkommen!

schönes Ferienhaus in traumhafter Alleinlage an der Mosel

Wir hatten das Haus für eine Woche gemietet, zwei Erwachsene plus Hund. Traumhafte Alleinlage in fußläufiger Entfernung zum Ort. Die Ausstattung ist ansprechend und entspricht dem Inserat, die Kommunikation und Beflissenheit des Vermieters sind vorbildlich.Auch und gerade für unseren Hund war es sehr schön. Die Umgebung lädt zum Wandern und Besichtigen ein, und natürlich zum Weintrinken, insbesondere in der nahen Strausswirtschaft. Wir haben uns sehr erholt und kommen gerne wieder. Die Reinigung könnte noch geringfügig verbessert werden, aber das tat dem Urlaub keinen Abbruch.

Absolut traumhafte Lage 👌👌👌

Wir haben einen wunderschönen Urlaub in diesem Haus verbracht 🤗. Wer ein bisschen Ruhe und Erholung sucht, ist hier genau richtig. Trotzdem ist man in wenigen Gehminuten in der Stadt. Der Ausblick von der geräumigen Terrasse aus ist einfach grandios 🤩🤩🤩. Das Häuschen ist rustikal eingerichtet und es ist alles vorhanden, was man zur Selbstversorgung braucht. Den Reinigungsmäusen haben wir ebenfalls unser Lob ausgesprochen. Niklas (der Vermieter) ist ein super netter Typ, der bei allen offenen Fragen immer zur Seite steht. Wir werden auf jeden Fall in diesem Haus wieder Urlaub machen, da die Lage einfach ein Träumchen ist.

Schöne Aussicht!

Wir hatten eine schöne und entspannte Woche in Traben-Trarbach. Wir haben es genossen, jeden Morgen auf dieser Terrasse mit Blick auf die Mosel in der Sonne zu frühstücken. Das Haus ist mit allem ausgestattet was man braucht. Die WLAN Verbindung funktionierte sehr gut. Wir konnten vom Haus aus unsere Wanderungen starten oder abends eine Straußwirtschaft zu Fuß besuchen. Die Tipps (Bäcker /Wein )vom wirklich sehr netten Vermieter waren sehr hilfreich. Wir kommen sehr gerne wieder!

Entspannte Zeit mit toller Aussicht in einem schönen und gemütlichen Haus

Zwischen der freundlichen, aufmerksamen Begrüßung und Nachfrage vor der Abreise haben wir eine schöne Urlaubszeit verbracht. Die Aussicht aus dem Haus heraus und von der Terasse ist wunderschön. Im hübschen Haus ist es gemütlich und man findet alles vor, was man in der Ferienzeit braucht. Uns hat es sehr gefallen.
