  • Steelhead Cabin at Rogue River Reserve
    Settle into Steelhead Cabin at Rogue River Reserve, a comfortable Southern Oregon retreat surrounded by river, forest, meadow and open space. Whether you're coming to fish the Rogue, spend time with family, explore the outdoors or simply get away for a few quiet days, Steelhead makes an ideal home base for experiencing everything the Reserve has to offer.
    One of Steelhead Cabin's best features is its large covered outdoor patio—a great place for morning coffee, outdoor meals, relaxing after a day on the river, or enjoying an evening outside even when the weather doesn't cooperate.
    But a stay at Steelhead is about much more than the cabin.
    Guests are invited to explore Rogue River Reserve, including our approximately 6-acre fishing pond with boats available for guest use, walking trails, open meadows, wildlife viewing and our saltwater swimming pool when available. The Reserve also borders over 15,000 acres of adjoining BLM and other government land, giving outdoor enthusiasts even more room to explore.
    And, of course, there's the Rogue River.
    For anglers, Steelhead Cabin is a natural choice. Spend your days pursuing salmon and steelhead on one of Southern Oregon's best-known rivers, then return to the Reserve to relax under the covered patio, walk the property or enjoy a quiet evening surrounded by nature.
    Families and non-anglers will find plenty to do as well. Take a boat onto the pond, fish from shore, swim in the pool, walk the trails, watch for wildlife or simply enjoy having room to spread out and explore.
    Rogue River Reserve is a large rural property and working ranch with horses and other animals. Some areas are private or reserved for livestock, while designated areas of the property are available for guests to enjoy.
    Our goal is for Steelhead Cabin to be more than somewhere you sleep between adventures. It's your home base for experiencing Rogue River Reserve and the beauty of Southern Oregon.
