The staff were so accommodating with an error on my side not reading the checkin close time. Not only accomodating, but friendly through the entire interaction. The room was clean enough & just the right size for a weekend where we weren’t there often and close enough to all amenities that we required.

I would definitely book this property again. For the price it was terrific. On the service road of the highway. We were in a back room and didnt hear the traffic at all. Rooms had everything, including free water bottles and a coffee machine with 2 pods. One thing I would say is that parking spots were a bit small.

The front desk staff were welcoming at check in. The room was clean and well presented. Was nice to see a coffee pod machine instead of sachets of instant coffee. Bathroom is small but clean and was great to have full size handwash, bodywash and shampoo in pump pack instead of dealing with tiny bottles and mini soap bars.

I like this place because the bedding is just a duvet and pillows, no fancy undersheets or anything to annoy me. Regrettably though, ive stayed here twice and both times the cutlery/crockery and coffee machine havent been cleaned to proper standard. Staying here is great, just maybe dont use their kitchen.

The room was clean and i loved the fact it had a coffee machine. That was a huge plus. We had a spa room and the spa was an excellent size. The only thing i could suggest is to upgrade the bathroom and soundproof windows being on the main road.

Old and Run down

The Gipps is a place you stay when you cant find anywhere else for a night. Itys not pretty and not particularly clean. Its also really noisy in the room, even though I had a room far down the end away from the road. Not somewhere you'd stay twice or for a few nights. The photos look pretty, be she ain't.
