Incredible is right!

Our group thoroughly enjoyed our stay in this beautiful, exceptionally clean, and comfortable home. There were plenty of activities to keep everyone entertained, and we hope to return to enjoy the outdoor space in the warmer months.

Great trip

We stayed with a few families - this is such a fun, family friendly place. Lots to do nearby, or just stay and play on the beach/in the water all day. Hosts were wonderful and helpful throughout the stay!

Vacation in northern Michigan

Great Place

The host was great and the home was beautiful clean and has lots of room. Nice back yard with a beautiful view and sandy beach. Has plenty of parking and is steps away from a boat launch. Convenient location to downtown Suttons and Traverse city. Our Family had the best time and can't wait to go back.

Beautiful Property!

We had a fantastic week - you can’t find a better location! The beach and bay are perfect for all ages! The house is a gem - the mid century modern and decor is fun. The house was clean and had everything needed. Would recommend.

Clean and spacious

We had an awesome time at this location. Everything was very clean with plenty of necessities provided (towels, toilet paper, etc.). The kitchen was stocked with all the tools we needed to cook. Hosts left detailed instructions for checkout which we appreciated. Tons of spaces to gather and hang out, with great views of the water. Very close to wineries and restaurants, and home had ample parking. Would recommend for large groups. We had a great, fun weekend and loved the pool table!

Perfect Setting for Family Fun!

This was our third time at Norra Semester, and our first winter Traverse trip. This house provides the perfect space for lots of family time, and the privacy we all need at the end of the days. The attention to details— cozy linens, local art, kitchen accessories, elegant fixtures, and fantastic furnishings— make this home feel like the warm hug of HOME. The view had even our late-sleepers up early for sunrises. The kitchen provides enough seating and counter room for our whole fam to chat over breakfast and coffee in the morning, and the dining room hosted game nights with all 13 of us comfortably. The location is proximal to so many great wineries and breweries and close enough for dinner in Traverse, while being “out of town” enough to enjoy starry nights and quiet mornings. My only hesitation in writing this review is that you might find this house so charming you snag our future long weekend dates. But honestly, we would find a different weekend to stay at Norra Semester. Thanks for sharing your home, Millns!

Wonderful family time. Everyone really loved the house. Son-in-law very tempted to go paddle boarding. Wish we would have know about a few of the kitchen amenities like the Keurig. I brought my one cupper then we discovered yours. Kids absolutely loved the game room and our daughter who is 50 was having a great time with Pac-Man challenging her 22 year old son. Lovely home

We just spent Thanksgiving week here with our extended family. The home was so spacious and cozy, and incredibly clean. It had everything we needed. It dumped snow and was so pretty looking over the lake - I can imagine it's glorious in summer. We had a wonderful time!

This property was in a wonderful location for my group to celebrate my 50th birthday and enjoy some time in the area with wine tours, shopping and sites. Communication with the property owner was excellent, and we truly enjoyed the lovely home and view.

Incredible!

This was our fifth stay at this house, and every time is better than the last! The location is perfection, giving you beautiful sunrises over the bay while still being close enough to Traverse City to enjoy restaurants, breweries, and shopping. We appreciate that the linens and decorations feel like what you would actually purchase for your own home and not for a rental property. The art is stunning and the furniture is comfortable. The kitchen and dining room provide a wonderful place to gather and the living room gives us a chance to watch Football together. We enjoy using all of the fun games downstairs! And everyone seems to sleep really well at this house. Thank you so much for a wonderful stay!

Family Trip

Great house and location, perfect for large families. So many amazing wineries close by. We had everything we needed. We had fun playing games in the basement and sitting on the deck (we got lucky and had warm weather for October). Would definitely come back here for another trip!

Our stay at the above property was much much more than we ever expected!!! The hosts were amazing!!! Very easy to contact, helpful, and even allowed an early check-in for us!!! Love the Lake!

This was a lovely trip! We had never vacationed on a lake or been to Michigan. The weather was quite pleasant, a nice respite from the scorching heat. The views were beautiful. We had so much fun using the kayaks and paddle boards. The house was very comfortable and well equipped. We did some hiking and explored Sutton’s Bay, a very nice town. Tristan & Cyndi were great hosts!

Amazing Vacation

This was our second time staying at this incredible property and we enjoyed our week immensely and didn’t want to leave. The views are stunning, the house is spacious and well equipped, and the location is perfect to visit Sutton’s Bay, Traverse City, Tarte Trail and wineries. Communication with Tristan and Cindi were prompt and because they own Ride Leelanau, it was so convenient to get e-bikes delivered to the house. We used their grill, fire pit to roast s’mores, and kayaks and paddle boards. It was a magical week for my entire family and we can’t wait to rent this stunning property again!
