Summary:
Golden Lofts condos offer the ultimate Traverse City travel experience. This newly constructed, stylishly appointed two bedroom/two bath unit is located above Golden Shoes on the downtown corridor of the lakeshore town that's on everyone's list of places to go. Shops, restaurants, and bars are all just steps away. And it's the perfect hub for exploring the rest of this beautiful region we call Up North.
ALL guests must be 25+ unless accompanied by a parent/guardian.

The Space:
It's a 21 step climb to the Lofts entry on the 2nd floor.
Open main living and kitchen space overlooks Front St. Large screen smart TV, and fully equipped kitchen, 1,152 square feet.
2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. The bedrooms are furnished with king beds. Each bedroom connects to its own bathroom with walk-in shower. Living room has pull out sofa. Washer & Dryer located in hallway closet.

Original exposed brick, modern fixtures and features create the perfect mix of history and contemporary style.

This Unit is on the second floor, please note the stairs are a little steep. There is no elevator.

**There are security cameras at the main door entry, and in the Loft Level Entryway.

Guest Access:
The entrance is located in the alley on the south side of the building. Once inside there is a long staircase which will take you to the second floor entryway where all four Golden Lofts units can be accessed. Units one and two are alley - facing while three and four overlook Front St.
Please note there is no elevator.

The Neighborhood:
Downtown Traverse City is abuzz with activity, though this small town does tend to roll up the carpet earlier than in a big city. Urban vibe comes with some urban sounds. Ear plugs are provided, if needed.

A bike rack is located outside the back of the Golden Lofts/Golden Shoes building and is there for your convenience. WMG Properties is not responsible for any damaged or stolen bikes or equipment.

Getting Around:
**GUESTS WILL RECEIVE ONE FREE PARKING SPACE BELOW UNIT - Parking for additional vehicles will include metered parking in the nearby parking garage**

HARDY GARAGE – Location: 303 East State Street- with another entrance on Front Street. (this is the closest garage to your unit.)
OLD TOWN GARAGE- Location-125 East Eighth Street (between Cass and Union Streets, which is one block to the west, and 5 blocks south.)
Please be sure to follow any posted signage to avoid being towed or fined.

EV charger: In the parking garages you can use the EV chargers located throughout.

Please Note: All guests staying at this property must be 25 or older unless accompanied by a parent or guardian. This will be verified after booking confirmation.

A damage waiver fee is required by Golden Swan for each stay. For this property, the fee is $69 and provides our guests with accidental damage coverage up to $600. If the amount of damage exceeds this, or if the damage is found to have occurred with malicious intent, Golden Swan retains the right to seek damages beyond that amount.

There is a non-refundable credit card processing fee applied to all reservations.

If the reservation is 14 days or longer there will be a required mid-stay clean. This is also available upon request for a shorter length of stay.

This building is perfectly located in the heart of Front St. Easy access to shopping and dining. Nicely appointed and meticulously maintained, I’d highly recommend. We took a day and traveled to Sutton’s Bay, Northport, Leland, Glen Arbor and took the Pierce Stocking Scenic Drive to see dreamy lake views. Overall a wonderful getaway.

I cannot say enough positive things about this property. This is one of the cleanest VRBO's I've stayed in. Their communication was excellent as well. Perfect spot in downtown Traverse City. The condo is very well stocked - almost everything you can think of and more! We know where we will stay the next time we're in Traverse City!

We had a wonderful vacation up to traverse city and are so happy we stayed at Golden Lofts. It’s right in the middle of the main drag and super close walk to restaurants and bars. The loft is super clean and nice, updated and a great place to hangout. Absolutely would recommend this location to everyone

This is a fabulous apartment, perfect for 2 couples. Very roomy and well-supplied. It is right downtown with lots of shops and restaurants, but is also very quiet. It is two blocks from a nice beach and easy to get to any location around Traverse City. There are 21 steps leading up to the apartment, so pack light. Also bring your own passwords for Netflix, Prime, etc.

I stayed with my daughter and her best friend for a few days, and this was an ideal location. The teens could go out and shop on Front Street while I enjoyed the quiet and comfortable condo on my own. The kitchen had everything we needed to prepare meals. The beds are big and comfortable. Communication was great - no problems at all. Will definitely consider it my first choice the next time we go up.

My kids and I had a wonderful spring break at this property! It was super clean and spacious and had everything we needed! The beds were extremely comfortable and rooms were quiet despite being centrally located in the downtown area. Walking distance to great shops and restaurants (our faves are Espresso Bay, Rare Bird, and M22). We did a lot of day trips, so the walk to the parking garage was a bit daunting due to the cold temps, but wouldn’t be an issue at all if it had been just a little bit warmer😎 All in all, it was a fantastic place and I would love to stay again the next time we’re in the area!

We were four couples looking for a place with four bedrooms and four bathrooms for all of us downtown TC. We couldn’t find a large enough place for all the couples together, but we found these two apartments side-by-side which was even better. The location was ideal, with our window overlooking the busy shopping Front street. Despite the central location, it was super quiet. We are already talking about our next visit and will no question book here again. Thanks for having a great place for us to stay!

The property was perfect for two couples. It was very clean, updated and furnished appropriately for two couples. The windows overlooked the center of Front streets action. Katy and listing are up front that this place is on the second floor with steps only and that parking is 2 blocks away, but it was an easy walk. Restaurants, shops, bars, farmers market, water activities and music are all walkable and very convenient. Katy was a great communicator and clear on instructors and very accessible.

First of all, I am a "clean-freak" & this rental surpassed my expectations. The decor is gorgeous and I love the simplicity; it's homey and not cluttered like many other rentals. My husband also said how nice it was to have the "little things" such as extra trash bags, Ziploc bags, tea & sugar, etc. Appreciated all of the communication with Katy too. We will definitely be back :)

Wow!! Absolutely beautiful condo! It was perfect for our little getaway. The teenage girls had their space and being right on Front Street made it easy for us to walk anywhere we wanted to go. The kitchen is beautiful and although we didn’t prepare any meals, it appeared to be well stocked with all the necessities (including a toaster, blender, baggies, plastic wrap and tin foil). It was very clean and the beds were comfortable. If we were to suggest anything, it would be to have a slightly bigger couch (maybe a small sectional) to have more space to hang out together. We had a great long weekend and have now found our favorite place to stay!!

The Loft was great. Clean, perfect amount of space for four adults. The only issue was parking two vehicles. A bit of a hike to park in a parking garage. The two "15 minute unloading" spots in front of the door were always occupied by two pick-up trucks. Traverse City does not accommodate surface street or parking overnight in public lots.

The property was amazing, clean, comfortable, and met all our needs. The location was THE BEST - we walked everywhere. My only complaint is I feel the whole parking pass/garage is a SCAM - Beware when using the pass to not let the garage person scan your badge - they distract you and don't give it back which then makes you pay the $60.00 lost fee. It would be less expensive to just park in the parking garage and print the ticket for the $20.00/day max. Let me explain. Went to leave the garage - the attendant said "would you like help scanning" and since I was parked a little far from the scanner I handed it over. Then the other attendant just distracted us a little with chatter and we left. We realized 20 minutes later that they didn't give us the pass back and went back - The garage attendants acted as tho I was stupid which didn't go well. When I reached out to the property management - the response was "Don't beat yourself up it happens more than you think - the garage gets a fee for reissuing parking passes" Hmmmmmm really? I got duped = never learned a lesson that didn't cost money. Otherwise it was a perfect stay. It wasn't the extra money that made me mad - it was the fact that I think they do it often and I was one of those times.
