The cottage: recently purchased and remodeled is ready to welcome guests to the beauty of Lake Bellaire and all that it brings. New floors, paint, and appliances are just a few of the upgrades that have been made to this cottage.
Bedrooms: 2 bedrooms that each are occupied by a full bed, dresser, and closet. If desired, there is plenty of room on the floors for an air mattress or two, depending on the number of occupants that you have with you.
Bathroom: Also recently upgraded, this cute and colorful bathroom features a vanity, toilet, and shower that is more easily accessible with a step taken out to ease getting in and out of the shower.
Kitchen: Featuring granite countertops
Outdoors: We have a canoe and two kayaks that are available for use for our guests. There are chairs and a swing down by the water. We have two firepits, one up by the house and the other at the water next to a swing!
Neighborhood: Please note that this cottage is in a residential neighborhood that is home to both children and elderly. We ask that while you still have a great stay, to please be considerate of them and children playing. There is also a park in the subdivision that we and our guests DO NOT have access to, as we are not apart of the association. Thank you!

The interior of the cottage is recently updated and very nicely done. Kitchen is equipped with all that you'd need. There was plenty of space for my husband and I, our teenage son and his friend. The owners are working on the grounds around the cottage and I am sure those improvements will yield great results. We enjoyed downtown Bellaire, the lake and the nearby trails. And the cottage is in a very quiet, peaceful neighborhood. The cottage sits back from the lake so that was the only reason for the 4-stars.
The house is set back from the lake with a huge backyard and great beach area. The availability of the canoe and kayaks was a big plus. The house was well renovated. Owner communication was great. The only negative is that the weather turned cold and the fireplace didn’t work. Other than that, highly recommended.
Perfect property for a long weekend! Everything we needed was there. The location was perfect for short trips to Petoskey, Charlevoix, and Traverse City. There is also a nature area very close by with many trails for walking or biking. The village of Bellaire has restaurant options that serve good food if you don't want to eat in. We enjoyed Dockside,Toonies, and Shorts Brewery. Make sure to visit the Bee Well Meadery! We should definitely stay here again.
