There were so many walkable places, including a playground at Empire Beach that our kids loved. This location was perfect for the Sleeping Bear half marathon - a short walk to the shuttle on race day. We went to a few local restaurants and of course got some gourmet chocolate! The house was within a short drive of a handful of great hikes, shops, and restaurants. Quiet, peaceful neighborhood to take in beautiful fall scenery!
