Nice condo, decent property, feels a little old overall. View of water/bay is nice. Keurig and a few K cups included, along with very basic other things, but not stocked at all with anything else (no salt/pepper, oil to cook with, etc.) 8f you are picky about coffee, only Folgers and a few flavored K cups are provided (not a huge deal, but byo K cups if you like different or your party drinks more than one cup/day). Unit was clean and nice. Minimal needs/requirements upon leaving which was convenient. Overall good experience with unit.

Great place, great view, great location!

Easy check in and check out, great communication, and fantastic little spot right on the water! We enjoyed how close it was to downtown Traverse City, as well as easy proximity to other locations. Nice beachfront, shallow water. Perfect spot for a quick we can get away for a couple.

Our anniversary getaway

Overall this is a great property. Loved the location on the bay and the view. The private beach is a plus. There were some minor housekeeping issues but the property manager was very responsive when they were brought to her attention.

Loved the location on the beach and away from the busy downtown area. The screen and sliding door was in need of repair, probably due to the damp air, but everything else was fabulous.

Updated and clean. great location and beach. pool was warm. Bed was comfy but pull out sofa was pretty rough for sleeping. Nice linens. Would stay here again

A great getaway

The room is immaculate. If my wife says it’s nice and clean, it’s nice and clean. Sorry we didn’t rent it for a longer period but did manage to rent another unit for several more days. Walking out to the well maintained beach is another bonus. Overall, very pleased!!

Greaat Locaton

The room was great overlooking the lake, but the property was undergoing a renovation and the internet was very unreliable. We called a few times to inquire the status and all we were told is they were working on it for two days. We also had no hot water when we first got there but was fixed in a few hours.

Great location/bad communication

This was a great location with beautiful views. We had great communication in the beginning, but we ended up forgetting an item at the condo, and we never recieved a response after we reached out mutiple times the day after we left. There are no seasonings. Very basic utensils. And one of the pillow cases looked extremely dirty. There was clean ones available that we did change it out.

Broken sink and Broken Screen Door

After staying at 100+ rental properties with 100% success, we finally found a bummer experience. Day 1: Called owner and said “There’s a Broken sink and Broken Screen Door“. Owner said she’d attempt to fix. Day 2: Nothing fixed So alerted owner again. She came up with an excuse and assured us she’d get it fixed Day 3: Nothing fixed. Dishes piling up and fruit flies starting to be a nuisance. Broken kitchen sinks are a disaster. Day 4: Begged owner to fix. She made more excuses. Day 5: Smell and fruit flies so bad that we abandoned the property and stayed in a nearby resort for final day. Bottom line: This owner obviously doesn’t value the guests and has no idea the power of sever bad reviews. Learning moment for us. Even though we’ve always had great experiences with rental properties, there’s bound to be a bad apple in the bunch. THIS IS PROPERTY IS THE BAD APPLE.

Great Location if you don't mind the smell

This is Vicki. The unit was very clean and you cannot beat the view, but it definitely needs updates. This is where the good stuff ends. The first thing we noticed is the very musty odor, almost like someone has smoked in the unit for years, and the odor just "stuck". Tearing out the carpeting would probably go a long way in correcting this problem. The second problem is that the screen door leading to the balcony is broken, it won't even slide on the hinges and came completely off when we tried to open the door. We brought this to Briana's attention and she said she just found out about it that morning. This thing has been broken for a very long time - you could tell by the condition of it. The third thing is that the WIFI does not work! The signal is so weak that it renders it useless (how does this happen in a popular resort area, we're not in the middle of the woods). We used our hot spots on our mobile phones and had a very strong signal. There are some dishes for the kitchenette, and dish soap.... but no towels! We ended up using the two bathroom hand towels that were provided, in order to dry dishes after using them. Plus, only one additional roll of toilet paper (for two people staying three days). No instructions as to where to take trash, where to get additional supplies, no brochures for restaurant recommendations. When we pointed out the maintenance deficiencies to Briana, we were met with hostility and were told that we would get a full refund but that she wanted us "out of her unit". Granted, my husband was less than his charming self when he reached out to her, but chalk that up to weary road travelers and the awful musty stench that hits you like a wall the second you open the door.... and then the other problems (well....) But instead of addressing the problems and asking what she could do to correct them, we were told to leave the unit. Which we did NOT of course, because we were in a contract and we did absolutely nothing wrong to warrant such treatment. Randy smoothed things over the next day, just to maintain some "peace", but really Briana, you need to learn customer service! And perhaps you should visit the unit from time to time so that you can see firsthand the condition that it is in. We ended up dealing with the smell issue by purchasing a bottle of Febreeze and sprayed it throughout a couple times a day, plus scented candles; however, those things are problematic for me due to asthma.

Great location and nice condo. Only issue was sliding glass door didn’t lock and vertical blinds were missing several slats. Notified property manager and they replaced blinds same day but did not address the lock. Only other suggestion is to bring extra wash clothes as they only provide 2 for a three night stay.

Undergoing new management

We arrived about 4:30pm since check in was at 4:00pm. The code worked and we entered the room. Cleaning supplies were in the room, but it was not cleaned from the previous stay including trash and linens.I immediately texted the property manager based on the check in information and left assuming that the cleaning person was running behind. About 20 minutes later, a text was received from the contact stating they no longer managed the property and would pass me to the new property manager, whom I immediately reached out to. No response was given until 9:17pm. They admitted to the error and offered to have the space cleaned, but the cleaner lived 30 minutes away and stated it would be more like 10:30pm before it would be cleaned. I decided to cancel. The next day, they refunded their portion of my money. I had to reach out to vrbo for the remainder. In their defense, the property manager tried to make it right, but the lack of a quick response was disappointing. The room looked nice and matched the listing photos.

Bay views are the best views

The property was clean and comfortable with beautiful views. Sadly it was rainy, cloudy and cool. The unit was dry and comfortable. The view was still so pretty!

Hotal website gave wrong info on wifi password. A hot tub would be a great addition. A shower near pool would reduce the amount of sand in it.

BUGS BUGS BUGS GALORE! The room is covered in BUGS!

We stepped into the property & we were immediately met w loads of dead & alive bugs. Owner would not do a thing for us besides refund, STILL WAITING, our housekeeping pee. There were bugs all over doors, windows, and floors. Dead bugs were in the shower. Very gross! This BY FAR outweighed the location & room. We were told the last renter must have left the door open. Well, clearly bugs are a HUGE problem there because there was a "bug catcher" filled w tons of bugs. I have a lot of pictures, too, but, not sure there is a place to post those. Extremely disappointed!
