We had a very nice stay. Owners were very friendly and made us feel welcome. We loved the retro style, rooms were nicely decorated and had everything we needed.

Lovely decorated motel. Room was well kept. Very close to Lake Michigan and Torch Lake. Staff was very warm and welcoming. Keep in mind there is no breakfast offered; there is coffee and snacks, although there is a cafe right across the street.

Would Stay Again!

Torch Bay Inn was the perfect home base for our weekend adventures. The room was clean, cute and had a home like feel. The bed was comfy and extra blankets were available. The shower was great! My husband enjoyed the snacks that were provided in the common area. Staff was friendly and often asked if we needed anything. Would stay again!

This place was so clean, the staff was amazing and even checked on us throughout our stay and they have the place stocked with everything you could possibly need! Everything is so cute, the only thing I would say is that having bonfire pits at each cabin would be cool but they do have one outdoor gas grill up by the motel part and they had a little round grill we used for a bonfire at our cabin. But seriously, that’s so small compared to all the wonderful things about it. Plenty of parking, cute vibe all around and so close to both Torch Lake and Grand Traverse Bay (less than 3 mins to each one). Will be back!
