If you're a transient returning member of the Treasure Beach community or experiencing Treasure Beach for the first time, you might be someone who cherishes the practice of retreat.

Amelia's is an unforgettable 2-acre property with a stunning saltwater infinity pool, surrounded by over 200 Lignum Vitae trees, known as the Tree of Life, which is said to have magical properties. If you're into that sort of thing, you'll experience the magic for yourself during your stay here.

Nestled on one of the highest points in Treasure Beach, Amelia's offers stunning panoramic views of the Caribbean Sea and magnificent sunsets from the large, shaded verandah that spans the length of the home. Nights here offer courtyard seats under the stars for sublime views of our little part of the cosmos.

Amelia's is an architectural delight, only a 10-minute walk to the sea. This open-design cottage includes a workspace overlooking the ocean, a cozy sitting nook, a formal dining area, a breakfast bar, and a full kitchen.

Each bedroom has an en suite bathroom, double doors leading out to the verandah, a large closet, standing fans, a room safe, and direct access to outdoor spaces and outdoor showers.

The gazebo courtyard adjacent bedroom has a king bed plus a single bed for larger groups. Bedroom #2 has a king bed and direct access to a shaded sitting area.

There is support in retreat, and here, you're family. We'll work with you to plan and prepare your meals and ensure that the home and grounds continue to inspire the best from your time here. Our family extends beyond Lignum Garden, and our community partners are here to provide even more support with private at-home yoga sessions and other wellness services.

A winding flight of stairs will bring you up to this lovely cottage. Wake up to birdsong and coveted views of the Caribbean Sea and retreat into sunsets and stargazing.

Our stay at Amelia’s was incredibly relaxing and rejuvenating. The property is stunning, with breathtaking views and a peaceful atmosphere. This is ideal for anyone seeking privacy, luxury, and an authentic Jamaican experience.As a single parent traveling with a teenage daughter, safety, cleanliness, and clear communication were essential, and Amelia’s exceeded expectations. The house is fully solar-powered with strong Wi-Fi. Although AC is available, we never needed it. The fans and cool mountain evenings kept the villa comfortable.Despite hurricane Melissa affecting nearby areas, the property itself was unaffected. We experienced a brief water interruption, which was resolved quickly, and the staff was extremely responsive.Access to the villa involves several stairs, so it may be challenging for guests with mobility issues. We forgot our mosquito repellent and regretted it. The team arranged an onsite hair braider for my daughter at a very reasonable rate. We provided the hair and tools, and the results were excellent. Natalie, the chef, was also available for off-property requests for a fee, and we reimbursed her for items purchased on our behalf, which made it easy to fully relax. Giovanni, the grounds manager, was always available, and Lorraine and team were attentive while still giving us privacy.Communication before and during our stay was excellent. I highly recommend Amelia’s for anyone seeking a peaceful experience.
