"Un domaine viticole magnifique comme écrin. Une piscine pour vous rafraîchir... Un excellent accueil. Du bon vin. Énormément de charme. Seuls bémols, l'absence de clim, toilettes sur le palier (mais privatives) et réseaux problématiques avec wifi très moyen, 4g inexistante et TV qui décroche par moment. "This property is located in a tiny village (Cambieure), 10min away from amenities (Limeaux) - wonderful vineyards and sunflower fields await you. Joelle (the property's owner) is the star of the place (with Gipsy, her lovely cat!) - super helpful, very friendly, able to provide tons of advice despite our language barriers (she speaks French, which we do not fully understand, but gestures and Google made understanding possible). "We stayed here for four nights to explore Carcassonne and environment. Montolieu is a charming artsy village with lovely bookshops and little streets. The place we rented was the first floor of the house with the owners living downstairs. They were extremely friendly people and really going the extra mile to make your stay most comfortable. The amenities in and outside of the house are plentiful: bowling alley, pool ( not heated though), outside kitchen .... certainly recommend this place to...

"An absolute gem. The Villa is very well appointed with custom finishes and furniture made by the hosts (their profession). It’s private, safe and a stone’s throw from the market for easy food shopping and all the necessities provided for home cooking. We stayed a week and did day trips in all directions. Coming home to the refreshing pool was a cherry on top. Anne and her family, including their very friendly dog, were welcoming and delightful. This is a special place and gets 5 stars on all...

"The only negatives I have for this property are that the hot water went away very quickly, there was no stopper for the bathtub, and the automatic lights were hard to turn on in the morning out in the hallway. It’s walkable distance to cite de carcassonne, but it is on the far end of town, pretty far away from the train station. It took me about 45 minutes in the rain. "
