"This property was a real unique find and was set in such a tranquil area. Beautiful, large, bedroom and bathroom all well furnished. A bonus was the swimming pool and gardens to relax in. Definitely worth a visit and the owners were charming and welcoming. "

"lovely place in the quiet countryside. only 10-15mins drive to the nearest town for restaurants, shops etc.. Perfect if you want to stay away from the traffic/town noise. I was only 30mins drive from Rennes which was perfect. The hosts are very friendly, welcoming and their food is excellent. "

"Beautiful Chateau although the staff didn’t communicate any of the facilities. The room we booked did not compare to the one received and when questioned we were told nothing else was available. Access was poor as the lift was out of service and the steep stairwells would have challenged Sherpa tensing "

"Une halte le long de la velodyssee très agréable. Les lits sont confortables, la salle de bain est grande et propre. Le calme règne en maître. Le gîte est très bucolique. "It's a lovely 3star hotel with no frills but a very good restaurant. Check-in was quick and to the point. We had dinner on the first night and it was very good. The swimming pool was clean and open till 21:00. Plenty of loungers and chairs to relax on. Rooms are basic but spotless. Good strong shower and the room was perfectly cleaned each day. Bravo to house keeping. Breakfast was adequate and self service. Overall a solid 8/10 "

"It was a lovely little gite, in a nice peaceful area, with beautiful scenery. Situated close enough to Chateabriant to be convenient for sightseeing/shopping/meals out, but far enough to be peaceful and relaxing. The host, Melanie, literally could not do enough for us. She was incredibly friendly, informative, gave us good recommendations for places to eat, even did our washing for us! The gite itself was neat, clean and very cool, which was greatly appreciated in the middle of a heatwave. We definitely hope to be back!"
