  • The hiring of our vacation home (Gîte) is always accompanied by a tating of our Champagnes, and if desired we can arrande a visit in our winemaking facilities (Press and cellars). You can find all information concerning our Champagnes on the following internet link : http://vitiplus.com/couvent-fils/.
    Our vacation home (Gite) is a recently renovated very beautiful old house, nearby our facilities.
    It is situated in a very quiet surronding of our village , although it is near to the village centre.The house has a terrace of 30 m2 and has privat garden of approximately 150 m2, separated from our garden by a small hedge.
    Descriptive : - First floor: Income hall, integrated kichen with large dining table, salon and WC
    - Second floor: one bedroom with double bed, one bedroom with two single beds, a bathroom with shower, wash-stand and WC
    - Third floor: one bedroom with two single beds, a bathroom with shower, wash-stand and WC
    Ps : the single beds can be twinned

Wonderful stay in peaceful location

We had a wonderful time, Sylvie was very nice and helpful. The house had everything we needed, comfortable bedrooms, well equipped kitchen and relaxing sitting area. Unfortunately due to the weather we did not make use of the outdoor space but that area also looked lovely. Hopefully we will be back again to explore more of the area.

A very nice house and place to stay. Also the visit to the Champagne cave was something we enjoyed. Friendly owners and although for a young family the village has little to offer, there is plenty of interesting things to find in the area.

It is a beautiful house and garden. We liked the champagne tour very much, very kind owners. The house was clean . I didnt like the wool blankets, But that was the only thing. Beds are good Tnxx for all

Cosy home in the heart of Champagne

Sylvie warmly welcomed us with small surprises through out the home which created a Christmasy vibe and spotless clean made us feel very warm and comfortable.

Pleasant, quiet, peaceful

A very pleasant stay. Sylvie was friendly and we greatly appreciated the tour of her facilities. The garden was private and well designed; interior bedrooms were stylish and the 'gite' is clean and homely. The locale was extremely quiet but I think that at this time of year many French people go on holiday so perhaps even quieter than usual. The location allows you to explore Dormans and Chateau-Thierry, which are well worth a visit. From Chateau-Thierry we managed to fit in two day-trips to Paris which were fab. Ask for a group discount if there are 5-9 of you. Grand Frais (supermarket) in Chateau-Thierry was a revelation; best supermarket (for quality food) we've ever experienced.

Heart of champagne country

Lovely house with secluded garden and good outdoor dining. We ate all meals outside. Especially enjoyed our trip round the winery and sampling the champagne. Very good quality and of course we brought some home to enjoy and remember. After a busy time in Disneyland Paris it was a lovely place to relax.

Serene, beautiful grounds, well maintained gîte

We stayed at Sylvie and Gérard's gîte for three nights in Sept. of 2016. We found the property to be just as described and well maintained. Sylvie greeted us and was very hospitable. We enjoyed the tour, champagne tasting and visiting the fields during harvest and the crush. We would return at any opportunity.

"Excellent holiday home! The accommodation was faultless, the place was exceptionally clean and the situation was pleasing. In addition the owner and her family were both warm and welcoming and the visit to their champagne cellars was most interesting. All cleaning materials were made available, toilet paper, and kitchen towels. household linen was at neglible cost (Bed was made up), and end of stay cleaning cost was minimal. Heartily recommend the house and look forward to renting it at some time in the future. M&G Webster"

Beautiful home. Wonderful hosts. Delicious champagne. Stunning area.

Sylvie and Gerard's home was excellent. It was well equipped, lacking nothing. The patio area was ideal for family BBQs and the grassy area was a lovely place for relaxing in the sun. The property was spotless on arrival with beds made up. We thoroughly enjoyed our visit to their cellar and spent a lovely evening tasting their champagne and enjoying their company. They are a lovely couple and their dedication and commitment to their business is admirable. It was great to be able to visit Gerard in their vineyards on our final morning in Trelou. The village is beautiful and a well signposted walk through the vineyards provided stunning views and a feel for what it's like to live and work in this gorgeous part of France. The location of the property is great. A small village, but just a short drive from Dormans with plenty of shops and a stunning castle and memorial. We would thoroughly recommend this property to our friends and family. There were 6 of us in the group ranging from 3yrs to 65yrs and we all love our weekend stay. Thank you Sylvie and Gerard!

Sylvie et Gérard sont des personnes adorables.Un acceuil chaleureux et un gîte très propre et bien équipé de la cuisine à la salle de bain.Séjour très agréable dans la campagne champenoise. Le jardin est spacieux et génial pour les micros siestes au soleil.C'est un endroit très calme et proche de 2 randonnées pour découvrir les vignobles.Merci pour cette semaine

Sehr nettes Häuschen mit schöner Terrasse und Garten. Sylvie als Gastgeberin hat sich viel Mühe gegeben, uns den Aufenthalt angenehm zu gestalten. Von hier aus konnten wir Paris per Bahn problemlos besuchen, auch die Autofahrten durch die Champagne waren sehr interessant. Das war sicher nicht unser letzter Aufenthalt in dieser Unterkunft.

fantastisch verblijf

Wij hebben een fantastisch verblijf gehad in de champagnestreek. Zeer mooie gite in een rustig dorp. Veel gewandeld en gefietst. Ook bijzondere dank aan Sylvie voor bezoek aan eigen champagnebedrijf en degustatie.

Heerlijk rustig ontspannen

Een rustige plek, met alles wat nodig is om te ontspannen. We werden hartelijk ontvangen en wegwijs gemaakt in de accommodatie. De omgeving is prachtig. Goed om te wandelen, te fietsen en de omliggende steden te bezoeken. Reims, Epernay en Chateau-Thierry allen op een half uurtje rijden.

Heerlijk huis in fantastische omgeving

Heerlijk en gezellig huis. Ruim (we waren met 4 volwassenen) en ondanks de hitte bleef het huis heerlijk koel. Gezellige woonkamer en keuken met ruime tafel. Fijn terras, waar je heerlijk kan BBQ'n en een lekkere 'hoog-tuin'. We hebben er 2 weken vertoefd. Het huis ligt op een prachtige uitvalsroute naar allerlei leuke plaatsen (Reims, Epernay, Château-Thierry etc.) en verder gewoon prachtig om zomaar rond te rijden en vooral ook te wandelen. (in het huis lagen 2 leuke wandelroutes. zeker aan te raden). De Marne ligt op nog geen 5 minuten lopen van huis. In het dorp zelf is niet veel te beleven, maar op nog geen 2 km afstand ligt Dormans. Hier vind je een prachtig 'Parc du Château' met 'Bureau Tourisme' en het indrukwekkend Memorial du Dormans. Verder 2 uitgebreide supermarkten, dus allemaal prima! En houd je van Boulen?...hier vind je een paar prachtige banen (en Fransen om me te spelen ;-) Sylvie en haar man Gerard zijn uitermate vriendelijke mensen. Bij aankomst een flesje Champagne en als klap op de vuurpijl hebben we nog een leuke rondleiding gehad in hun 'Champagne Brouwerij'. Erg leuk en interessant en ..... heerlijke champagne! zeker de moeite waard om een flesje mee te nemen. Sylvie en Gerard we hebben ontzettend genoten. Bedankt voor jullie gastvrijheid! Un havre charmant et reposant

Très joli gite, confortable, chaleureux dans le village de "Treloup" entouré de vignes et proche de la Marne. Sylvie, la propriétaire est fort sympathique et passionnante quand elle parle de ses vignes, sa cave et son champagne.
