"The hotel location was fantastic and the facilities were very good- what unfortunately let things down was that there weren’t enough staff particularly for the bar/bistro. There were some great outdoor seating areas as well as the indoor bar area, but they were only ever served by 1 person. The restaurant was a bit better, although the food was excellent it was let down by not enough staff to serve the number of guests."

"We stayed for one night as a family of three and were very happy to receive a free upgrade to a larger room upon arrival. Lovely and helpful staff, nice pools and good breakfast buffet, would definitely recommend for a family stay in Lugano."

"Great location! Rooms were clean. AC did not work for more than 10 minutes so quite hot in our room. Did not get a chance to use the pool. Included breakfast was nothing special but great that it was included and convenient. I would stay here again!"

"The view of the lake is lovely. We thought it was pretty good for a 3-star hotel. The breakfast was pretty good and we liked that they offered the option to order fresh eggs. The staff were friendly and helpful. They helped us organize a private boat tour that picked us up from their own private dock at the hotel. A bit pricey but a great tour and was well worth it for us! Would definitely recommend this extra add-on. The air conditioning worked well in the room. The only complaint would be that we often heard other guests in the halls and rooms nearby but that is expected for an older building. The bed was on the firm side but not too firm."
