Cozy little cottage with big memories

This cottage is one of three on our seven acre property and is approximately 380 sq ft with approx 300 Sq ft of deck which steps down into a professionally designed fire pit.

We provide firewood for you to enjoy a great fire under the stars.

The cottage has a large designated area for your exclusive use to ensure your privacy.

We welcome you to take advantage of the common areas of the remainder of the 7 acres.

There is amazing fishing and a boat launch directly across from the property. Bring your boat or any other water craft and enjoy the always calm waters of the Trent. Enjoy roasting marshmallows by the Fire Pit under the stars.

We hope you enjoy our cozy little cottage away from home. We have gone to a great deal of effort to give this a resort style feel. Everything is less then a year old and the entire cottage has been completely renovated.

A full kitchen, dishes, and utensils are available for your use.

Cozy & Relaxing Great Stay :)

What a cozy and relaxing time, the property was well maintained, the cottage was freshly renovated & had all modern amenities. The fire pit & BBQ area were really nicely built which we defiantly enjoyed. Peter and his beautiful family were very accommodating & really nice to talk to. Great time & will defiantly come again :)

Nice little cottage for a weekend getaway. Perfect for two. Everything was clean and smelled great. The shower was good too. Peter was an amazing host. There is a public boat launch location across the road where you can view nice sunsets over the water.

Nice but needs some upgrades

This is a cute place and was very clean. We had decent weather so were able to use the barbecue and enjoyed the lovely outdoor space. Good quality bath towels and a nice updated bathroom. We had a question re induction burner and host responded very quickly. Negatives - no screens on windows, mattress needs to be replaced (too soft, sags in middle) and couch has seen better days. Decent TV with Netflix - very nice for relaxing in evening after lots of walking during the day.

Everything is exactly as described. Our stay was easy and comfortable. The only improvement we could see would be installing screens on the windows or a screen door so you could get ventilation without mosquitos getting in.

Get away in Campleford

Lovely mini home, like a hotel room with a deck and fireplace. Peter was super helpful in regard to any issues we had. Futon was adequate to sleep on but not for a longer stay...overall our experience was excellent, place was clean fridge was stocked with water and bottle of wine. Would go again

Small cottage

The good - Found the cottage clean and fresh with quality linens and towels. The bed is comfortable although some may find it a little soft. The bad - Although advertised for 4, it really is only suitable for 2. Yes 4 can sleep there but there is not enough seating for 4. The air conditioner was too noisy, its impossible to walk on either side of the bed requiring a person to crawl into the bed from the foot, the couch is hard and lumpy(probably because it is also a fold out bed), a good coffee maker is supplied but the coffee pods are cheap store brand and impossible to drink and finally the caulking around the shower and tub in poor condition. Overall the unit reminded me of those cheap motels you can find along the freeways. Not worth the amount charged.

Amazing weekend getaway and first experience with VRBO. Completely satisfied with our rental and was everything we expected. Great host who supplied free fire wood and a complimentary bottle of wine. Would highly recommend.

Lovely Spot for R&R

We we looking for a place to get away to relax and we found just that. The cabin was spotlessly clean, compact with all the efficiencies and in a great location...close to town but far enough away. Fishing was a walk down the driveway away, nice restaurants are 10 minutes down the road and great walking trails also 10 minutes away. We were pleasantly surprised with our stay and will be back.

Long needed getaway!

This little cottage is perfect for getting away from the hustle and bustle. The outside area was clean and well kept. The cottage had everything we needed to enjoy our days there. Peter is a great host, although we never met he always answered us very quickly on any comments or concerns. We will definitely be coming back…..

Great location for a vacation

Perfect little getaway

Firstly, I want to thank Peter for being such a phenomenal host! Everything was just perfect! Beautiful, Clean, Morden full of amenities. We enjoyed using the BBQ and fire-pit. Very close to all of Campbellford tourists spots , supermarkets, restaurants, etc. My Husband and I had great weekend getaway and we will 100% return.

Enjoyed our stay!

The cabin is really nice and clean. It's nice to have a firepit where you can warm yourself and watch the stars in the night. Peter (property owner) made sure that we have everything we need. The included grill is helpful in cooking quick breakfast for the day. We will definitely come back again. We are thinking of inviting our relatives to book other cabins as well and just have a mini family reunion.
