About this property

Secluded Lakeside Gazebo on Private Lake Surrounded by Nature, Ontario

  • This gorgeous gazebo rental in the Trent Hills, surrounded by woodlands and an exclusive lake, makes for a wonderful couple's retreat in Ontario. The gazebo has a luxurious double bed with bedding and soft furnishings as well as a plush sofa for guests to wind down in the evenings. The beautiful, large windows are dressed with high-quality curtains which guests can drawback for panoramic views of the woodland or close for privacy. Next to the gazebo, there is a beautiful, wooden outhouse with a foot pump sink, towels, and toiletries. There is also a private outdoor shower area attached to the outhouse so guests can feel fully immersed in nature.

Guests can choose to have their meals at the ornate dining table, by the light of the LED candles for a cozy mood, or at the wooden table on the screened-in decking area. This area has a long, cushioned sofa, a storage cabinet for homeware and crockery, and tea and coffee-making facilities.

The gazebo does not have electricity which allows guests to experience glamping the eco-friendly way and switch off from modern distractions. However, there is a small, quiet power station for recharging phones, laptops, and small electrical devices in the room. The tranquil location of the gazebo is guaranteed to help guests relax and feel closer to nature. Guests can explore the 100 acres of woodland and see the local wildlife, or take the canoes down to the lake and cast off for a fun day on the water.

Each of the 3 gazebos are about a 5 to 10 minute walk from one another, so privacy is definitely not an issue here! You will be immersed in nature and beauty. Perfect for couples seeking quiet and solitude time. Great for groups wanting to rent all three for gatherings, and still have the option to retreat back into their nook in the woods for some down time. Even when all 3 units are booked, you are unlikely to see or bump into other guests.

Breathe in the fresh air, reconnect with nature and give your body and soul a well-deserved break. Let the peeper frogs lull you to sleep and the distant call of the loons be your wake-up call.

    PLEASE NOTE:

This property is an animal-free zone due to SEVERE allergies. Please don't ask if you can bring your dog, cat etc or try to sneak them in. This also applies to service animals, unfortunately. Even though different terms are used, a dog is a dog whether it is your pet or service animal. Although we do sympathize with people who require service animals, my severe allergies do not know the difference and I do not want to die. Our property is exempt from domestic animals entering the grounds and we ask that you kindly respect this.

We also have deer and other creatures that live around the gazebos. The scent of a dog would scare them off, fundamentally changing the nature of the experience or impacting it for other guests.
