"Frank was the best, hand down! He and his staff did everything that could be done to make us feel so wonderful and have such an amazing experience. Even his associate gave us a complimentary wine key even after I was a bit irritable at check in. This experience actually makes the whole trip amazing from our perspective as it was so simple but so perfect and we had the best time falling in love again at this property."

"Nicely done hotel across from a quiet beach. If peace and quiet is what you’re looking for, then this is for you. Wish we would’ve been in the area at least one more night. Loved the old world decor! The only.negatives are so mild, they’re hardly worth mentioning. The staff was almost absent so when we needed soap. No one answered the phone or present at the front desk. Also, I had a tough time reaching someone to fix the billing error but it was taken care of via voicemails and messages in a timely manner. Would I stay here again? Most definitely!😊"

"Great location for our needs. Close to everything that San Clemente has to offer. View from the deck was amazing - overlooking the golf course with the ocean in the background reminded us of some of our stays in Hawaii. Plenty of room for all including our dog - beds were some of the most comfortable we have experienced when staying at VRBO's. House was well equipped for our 6 day stay. Communication with the Host was outstanding. Quiet neighborhood and ample parking for two SUV's in the driveway."
Dana Point Vacation Rental Close To The Beach!

"The pros: nice size condo, well stocked kitchen, lg dining table, outdoor space, convenient location, plenty of parking, comfortable beds, 1.5 bathrooms, beach chairs, umbrellas, a cooler, boogie boards, a pack n playThe cons: having lived in DP myself for many years, the location is not in a desirable neighborheood - but NOT unsafe. The price reflects this. The Internet was unreliable and slow and info given to log in was incorrect. Communication was slow. It's a great spot for a girls or guys trip, people with older kids, or adults only. The tile floor made it hard with a 7 m/o and a 3 yr old, but easy to sweep up sand. It feels and looks like a bachelor pad, it could use a few homey touches. There were exposed cords everywhere, pictures clearly had been moved, but the walls left with big holes. You can see some effort, but could use more. The patio furniture outside is lower quality than what is listed online, so that was a bit of a disappointment.A few simple improvements I would recommend: placing a basket out with a clean kitchen sponge, extra paper towels, dish towels, higher quality trash bags, extra toilet paper in each bathroom etc. Making sure there's light bulbs in all the lamps-there wasn't, and working batteries in the remotes-there wasn't. Lastly the dishwasher is covered in soap film and smells really bad. It needs a proper cleaning. We did not use it because of this."

"Bungalow was the cutest and coziest. Everything you might need is provided. Only thing that was a challenge was that at night is was VERY warm in the bungalow. We figured it out after a very uncomfortable 1st night sleep. We strategically used the fans provided in the closet to pump the AC air from the living room to the bedrooms… we closed the bathroom door to prevent the heat that accumulated there during the day due to skylight. Also had to position one of the fans to counter the heat coming off and radiating from wall heater pilot light….Opening up the windows and doors in the evening definitely helped and having the ceiling fans on all day. Note: it was the peak of summer and the highs were mid to upper 80’s so I’m sure this is not an issue all year…Other than that, our host was super responsive and helpful and the place was super clean and nice!"

Family-friendly 2bd Condo in Historic San Juan + Patio!

"Great location, walking distance to restaurants, bars, shops and grocery stores. Check in and check out were simple and we had a nice stay. TV worked well and we used our streaming services. The place has a fully functioning kitchen. There is a community pool, but pool furniture HOA needs to replace the pool furniture as there were no lounge chairs and many regular chairs are broken. A couple things to be aware of are there is only parking for one car and street parking is not allowed unless you have a resident permit. Thankfully, we discovered that there is a "park and ride" about a mile away, where we moved our other car each night and picked it up each day. Also, there is not central air conditioning, which was not a problem for us because the weather was not real hot (mid 70s) the two weeks we were there. It would be uncomfortable in the second bedroom in hotter weather (mid 80s or above). Overall, we had a good stay, price was fair and location good."
