"Our stay in Triberg was in a cozy, cabin-style room that had a lot of charm. Check-in was a bit unconventional — we had to go to a restaurant up the road to pick up the key and check in. Thankfully, our taxi driver from the train station was familiar with the setup and got us there without any trouble.
Triberg itself is a very cute town, but it’s worth noting that most places close quite early — often by 6 or 7 PM — so plan accordingly if you want to shop or grab dinner.
Overall, a charming...
"Very nice Hotel, friendly staff, everything is clean and well maintained. It is located in a very quiet location bordering forests and hiking trails.

"We stayed in this delightful family run hotel in Triberg for the night. The proprietors were so very helpful on our arrival and provided us with uncover parking for the motorcycle. We had a ground floor room in the annex building with a beautiful view of the town from the wonderful balcony area. The bed was very comfortable with crisp fresh linen and fluffy pillows. The bathroom was small but comfortable with good water pressure for the shower.
The hotel is well maintained and the garden and courtyard make for a relaxing place to unwind.
Be aware - there is no lift at this hotel due to the age of the property and there are many stairs and it is situated on a steep hill. "
"Lovely location. The gentleman at reception was very talkative and welcoming. The pool was nice and warm. The food was wonderful at the restaurant. Our room was very large and the balcony was an added bonus. "
"Wonderful and comfortable stay with warm and inviting staff. Breakfast was great and cakes/desserts were delicious. Centrally located in the beautiful town of Triberg. Unforgettable experience in the Black Forest with wonderful traditional Cuckoo Clock shopping."
