"This small boutique property is beautiful, well built and impeccably designed. It is so close to being the perfect high-end micro hotel it wants to be, that it is such a shame that it misses the mark. The hotel has no staff from noon to 4:30. You cannot arrive between those times and to make matters worse they will charge you if you arrive earlier and want to check in. Leider wurden bei unserem Aufenthalt von vier Tagen kein Mal die Handtücher gewechselt, außerdem gab es keine Handtücher für den Pool oder die Außendusche (lediglich 6 Stück für die gesamte Unterkunft) und die normalen durften für den Pool nicht genutzt werden. 10/10 Excellent

"I cannot fault our stay here. We paid extra for the 3rd floor apartment with a terrace and the sea views were stunning. There was a huge patio and two balconies. The apartment was clean with air conditioning in all rooms. There was a main bathroom with a lovely shower and an en-suite bathroom off the double bedroom (the shower wasn’t so good in this one but the extra toilet was handy. There was a second bedroom with 2 single beds but as a couple we used this as a dressing room and luggage storage area. There was no cleaning while we were there so be aware of this. We also made used of the parking in the garage at €15 per night which gave us peace of mind that the car was secure and safe overnight. There is however free parking outside but I would recommend using the garage. The staff when we arrived were very helpful. The apartments are about a 20-25 min walk to the nearest beach but we took the car and parked in the car park as it was so hot. It’s about a 25-30 minute walk to the old town. We would definitely stay here again if visiting Gallipoli."

"Lovely old but renovated hotel with tasteful decor. Staff were friendly and generally helpful. Parking €10 for the stay which is good value but be warned its a good 10-12 mins walk with steep stairs to access the car park (the hotel offer a lift service but charge €15 each way). The junior suite we stayed in was on ground floor level into the street. It had no air con but the old dark building manages to keep the place cold. We noticed an instant musty smell every time the windows were closed as such for air circulation we slept with the window/door in each room partially open but all night there was loud noise from the outdoor bar down the street (& nightclub on weekend night) plus people coming up and down, from 4-5am then the birds start waking up! Not relaxing or suitable for light sleepers. Breakfast was quite a limited selection of healthy foods (other hotels we stayed in the region had more options though) but they did restock regularly and the balcony is lovely overlooking the port. My herbal tea was served luke warm each day (it barely changed colour), as was the coffee on 2 of the days we stayed. Overall would not stay again."

"I loved this hotel. It is very Italian - the location is great, as are the views. Great pool. I love this town. It is where Italians go for holiday - not touristy like beach towns up the coast. Being at the meeting point of the blue Adriatic and green Ionian Sea is magic. Definitely take a boat tour. Eat at Sacristy - the best food is often found in alleys!"
