Pillo Hotel & Leisure Club

Pillo Hotel & Leisure Club

10/10 Excellent
"We stayed in a family room with our 2 kids 7 and 10. Room was clean and nicely maintained and well sound proofed. We had a great nights sleep. We used the pool (you need to book a slot but we managed to change ours with ease when we arrived later) and went to the arcade which was small - but was a novelty for our kids. We had dinner, which was excellent and the breakfast was also great. Shout out to the staff at the gym who did an excellent Hyrox class which both me and my husband enjoyed! It was a great stay, and I would go back like a shot!"

"Hotel was lovely and staff welcoming. Not great selection for food in bar... asked before arriving and when i was there if we could book table in bar for evening meal. Was told no. Then when we went that evening we were told that we mitnt get table as there were other bookings before us. Pool was good but very busy and noisy with kids swimming lessons on"

How many historically relevant hotels will I find in Trim?
Trim is home to 10 hotels and other accommodation options bookable on Expedia but not many designated as historic hotels.
What are the must-see historical sites and other places in Trim?
Trim is notable for landmarks like St Patrick's Church, Sheep's Gate and Wellington Column. A couple of additional sights to add to your itinerary are Aura Trim Leisure Centre and Porchfield.
What is a historic hotel like in Trim?
A guest who chooses a historic hotel has the chance to stay in a building officially recognised with a national historic designation. Historic hotels throughout the world can be castles, stately homes, palaces or even pubs, lodges, old police stations or skyscrapers — any place of special interest. These types of hotels in Trim usually retain original characteristics like traditional architecture and period features in guestrooms or communal spaces.
What is the difference between a historic hotel and a heritage hotel?
They are quite similar. "Historic hotel" is more commonly used in the U.S., while you'll often hear "heritage hotel" in Asia and Europe. Historic hotels tend to place more significance on the architecture and actual building. Heritage hotels draw their meaning mainly from the place's cultural value and how it inspired the community.
Do historic hotels in Trim have modern facilities?
Yes. Every effort is made to preserve treasured traditions and historic facades, but interiors include modern conveniences and safety features. Guests should expect the popular amenities you'd find in a hotel such as private rooms with updated bathroom facilities, WiFi and more. In Trim, booking a historic hotel doesn't mean you will stay in a place that's rundown or uncomfortable for guests.
