"It was terrible and got worse the more I investigated. The drains were blocked and the bathroom not cleaned, dirty towels on the doors and the bed had black bits through the white sheets! Thank goodness the sheets were white so I could see how dirty it was!"

I was threatened with a cancellation without refund desite the fact they had not given me the opportunity to do what they asked. "0/5 – Worst stay of my life. Plummer House Newcastle was an absolute disgrace from start to finish. The room was filthy on arrival — dirty sink and work surfaces, stained floors, damaged furniture, worn cabinets, filthy fridge, marked and stained chairs, and mugs that looked like they hadn’t been properly cleaned in months. This is not “student accommodation” or “serviced living” — it’s neglect. The female manager was rude and unprofessional, even trying to make me check out 12 hours earlier...

"If you are going to Newcastle, just book this place. Its 5 min walk from the station and so central for the nightlife. Great pub underneath and food options everywhere. The apartment was clean and well laid out, the communication from Gary was spot on. Dont think, just book it."

"When we arrived we saw immediately that the sofabed in the lounge was broken and could not be used to sit or sleep on, this was disappointing as it meant there were not enough beds for us all. We contacted the owner and the next day a chap arrived with an airbed. We requested that the sofa be replaced but that did not happen.
