About this property

Deep Water Tranquility Cove 4/2

  • Great views! Waterfront home on DEEP water cove in quiet neighborhood (water is 14-16’ deep at the end of our dock - and 35-40’ at the opening of our cove). Perfect for a couples romantic weekend, a family getaway or fishing tournaments. Home sits on very quiet cul-de-sac so there is no thru traffic, and plenty of parking. Nice covered deck with great lake views. Two sets of tables and chairs for outdoor dining on the deck. Grilling area close to the water with additional seating and tables. Fire pit by the water which is perfect for nice relaxing evenings.

    Nice boat dock with plenty of room for your boat or pwc, and large open deck perfect for playing or sunbathing. Dock has a ladder for easy entry to/from deck and water if you want to swim in the quiet cove. There are three kayaks and a paddle board available (use at your own risk). Several life jackets available for your use ranging from Childs Small to Adult Small. Please note: our boat is not pictured, however it is in the boat lift. Because we are in a quiet cove off the open water, most guests tie their boat to one of several spots available on the large dock, and no one has had an issue. One of the many benefits of not having rough waves or boats passing by quickly like on the open water.

    Our cove is deep and tends to attract a lot of fish, turtles, ducks, geese, blue heron, and even pelicans! We often have squirrels, cardinals, blue jays and many other birds in our backyard, and occasionally see deer in the front. Natures paradise!

    Four bedrooms, daybed with trundle and oversized chair with twin sleeper. Three of the bedrooms have Queen Beds, and fourth bedroom has two sets of bunk beds - one set with two twin beds, and second set with two full size beds. Daybed with trundle and sleeper chair with twin mattress are located in second living area and have fantastic water views.

    No Smoking inside the home.

    No loud parties or large groups. Our neighborhood is mostly full-time residents who are retirees so it is a quiet serene place most of the time.

This is our 5th year to stay here. It is great for fishing and water sports. Great boat house for the boat to stay protected from weather. Good swimming area in front of house. Our family really enjoys the house and all it offers.

This property was amazing. The house was very comfortable and well stocked. The lake access on a quiet cove made for an incredibly fun weekend of swimming and floating. ❤️ this place! Even with the lake down over 3 feet the water is still deep enough for diving off the dock. Fishing was great, mostly perch and catfish, and the kids pulled in so many we lost count! We’ll be back, I’m sure, for our 5th and 6th stay!

We were in the area for my sons motocroas race and it was also his 13th birthday. This was a perfect place for a few of our family and friends to celebrate him and relax after being at the track all weekend. Super cute home, clean and the owners are great. We even extended out stay by a day!

60th B-Day weekend!

It was the perfect location for us. (Ages 32-60) Having this home on the water was the right choice. We used the life jackets, kayaks and outdoor grill. Price was right and communication with owner was fast. I highly recommend this property.

Great lake house

The backyard could stand a cleaning (e.g., old grill leaning against the fence), as well as receive an insect treatment. The swimming off the dock was good, even with the lake ~18" below normal. Seven adults fit comfortably in the house, and we had plenty of space in the kitchen for meal preparation. We would use this place again in the future.

My husband and I finally found a place we both like! He liked the fishing and I liked the outdoor space and clean, updated interior of the house. There was plenty of space for our family of 4 adults and 2 children. 2 living areas provide separate space if needed. The host provided life jackets, kayaks, and games. The kitchen was fully stocked with everything we needed, including extra paper towels, trash bags, foil, etc.

Perfect stay!

We had such a great time! This was our third time staying here and it was wonderful as always! The kitchen is well stocked, plenty of water toys to play with, and the beds were all comfortable. We hope to stay again soon!
