Good choice for Trinidad
Beautiful interior, good service (among the best hotel service we came across in Cuba), extensive breakfast buffet. The bar was incredibly well-stocked - so nice to have something besides rum after 2 weeks in the country! Missed some of the luxuries you might normally expect in a hotel charging these rates, but that seems pretty standard in Cuba given the restrictions on imports. Overall a good choice for a stay in Trinidad.

Nice colonial style hotel close to the centre of the old town. Renovated well and well appointed. First floor rooms which open out to private terrace are best as there is no pool here. Food offering could be improved. Better to eat at local restaurants outside the hotel.

For a 5 star hotel the staff and bell boys were very unwelcoming, there are no amenities. The general manager was rude.

A Standout Hotel.
The welcome and check in was fantastic together with a non-alcoholic cocktail. The room was great. We have a room with a balcony overlooking the square. The staff were friendly and attentive, the food was good. We breakfasted twice and had dinner there for our anniversary. The hotel made a fuss for that and even left a chilled bottle of bubbly in our room and sprinkled petals over the bed. This is a standout hotel in a poor country and if we return we will stay at this Iberostar.

Bien mais trop cher
Nous avons eu d'abord une grande suite donnant sur le parc avec une grande terrasse... sauf que nous n'avons pas pu dormir à cause du concert sur la place ("exceptionnel" mais qui a eu lieu les nuits). Nous avons donc pu changer pour une chambre standard donnant vers l'intérieur, moins grande avec deux lits séparés sans avoir pu nous faire rembourser. Le directeur nous a néanmoins gentiment proposé de nous offrir le dîner mais la salle de restaurant était trop froide et austère pour avoir envie d'y dîner. Petit-déjeuner buffet copieux mais peu qualitatif, moins bon que dans une casa. Bilan mitigé: cela fait du bien d'arriver dans un hôtel avec de l'espace, du confort, un grand lobby... mais il ne vaut définitivement pas son prix. Pour un prix plus raisonnable nous aurions pu être satisfaits mais à ce niveau là tout doit être impeccable et ce n'était pas le cas: insonorisation, état de la douche, qualité du petit déjeuner, accès au Wi-Fi gratuit...

Belle arnaque.
Nous avons réservé 2 chambres pour 5 personnes. A notre arrivée, on nous réclame 1200€ supplémentaires ! oui vous lisez bien 1200€. Sois disant la chambre triple ne devait etre occupée que par une seule personne Belle arnaque.
