NEW LOW RATE & SUPER VALUE - Quiet, cozy, and dog-friendly, this charming cabin offers an affordable beach getaway in the heart of downtown Trinidad. Perfect for families, couples, or friends, the home is tucked away on a peaceful wooded street just steps from Parker Creek Trail to Old Home Beach!

Follow the trail downhill for a five-minute walk to Old Home Beach, ideal for beachcombing and tide pooling. Head uphill and you’ll reach shops, restaurants, the pier, local museum, public bocce ball and tennis courts, and additional hiking trails—all within five minutes. Trinidad is wonderfully dog friendly, making it easy to bring along your four-legged companion (one dog maximum).

Parker Creek Cabin is well suited for a couple’s retreat, a small family, or a relaxed gathering with friends. The home features two bedrooms—one with a king bed and the other with a queen—comfortably accommodating up to four guests. Set on an extra-large, fully fenced lot, the property offers ample outdoor space to relax and play. Enjoy the covered deck overlooking the forest and neighborhood, a perfect spot to unwind after a day of exploration.

Inside, the cabin feels warm and inviting with hardwood floors, large windows, and a classic cabin-style atmosphere. The living room flows seamlessly into the compact yet well-equipped kitchen, creating an easy, comfortable space for gathering. Cozy up by the wood stove for added warmth and ambiance while enjoying a movie on the Smart TV. A washer and dryer are conveniently located in a detached shed.

Trinidad, once a historic whaling town, remains a charming fishing village and home to one of California’s last “mosquito” commercial fishing fleets. Stroll along the newly remodeled pier, book a charter fishing trip, or savor seasonal local seafood such as salmon, rock cod, lingcod, or crab. ** Guest reserving home must be 25 years or older, be staying at the property the entire time and will be considered the responsible party for this booking.

So very much enjoyed stay at Parker Creek. Everything as we expected. Close to town but very quiet. Could hear breakers, largely views of beautiful greenery. Well equipped kitchen, lovely beds, al. Nice and clean.

Coastal Redwood Family Vacation

We're so glad we found this vacation rental for our family vacation to the Redwoods. Trinidad is the perfect small town to disconnect, complete with a great grocery store and restaurants for your every need. Definitely recommend!!

Perfect beach house -- beautiful area.

Peaceful, quiet, beautiful, and well-located. Everything we wanted. Great walkability and close proximity to market and restaurants. The weather was nice and we enjoyed several meals outside on the covered deck. Loved the sound of the birds too. We went to Prairie Creek, Patrick's Point, Arcata & Eureka besides Trinidad. We have been to Trinidad 7 times, but this was a first at Parker Creek Cabin and we would definitely come again. Enjoyed watercolor painting as well. Our little dog, Casi, loved it too.

Cozy coast retreat

Great location and really cozy beds. Just a short walk to the beach and downtown. The wood stove made the place to cozy and we enjoyed the covered deck since it was raining most of the time.

Wonderful roomy quiet retreat in Trinidad

We fully enjoyed our stay at the property. Interactions with the host were fine. Lots of good information provided in pamphlets and online. Close to the beach, but private. Big lot, roomy house, nicely appointed. We'd come back there again.

Gret location! steep trail to the best beach in Trinidad. My 85 yr old husband and I did two walks to the beach where we saw seals, and had a ball. nice deck for afternoon wine time.

Nice little house in Trinidad

This house was larger than expected and came well supplied. The porch deck is a nice bonus for outdoor seating. The bathtub/shower drain is very slow and got worse over the week.

Weekend Getaway

My family rented this place to attend Rumble over the Redwoods in McKinleyville. It was a great location and we loved the ability to walk to Indian Beach or into town for coffee in the morning. It’s smells like an old cabin. Haha. Which can be kind of nostalgic. The only thing I wish is that check-in was pushed up an hour to 3 PM and check-out pushed out an hour to 11 AM. Other than that, it was good!
