"We vacationed with our family and rented the 2 cabins. The cabin was very clean and very homey. There was everything we needed. Although there was no air conditioning, there were plenty of fans for the hot nights. We could see the lake from our deck, and was only a 2 minute walk from the cabin. My family enjoyed the lake and made use of the kayaks. There was a grill and fire pit outside. We ate most of our meals outside at the picnic table. Amanda quickly responded to any questions during the renting process and very accommodating to requests. We arrived as it was getting dark, the lights were turned on in the house for us and Dan came by in the morning to check and see if we needed anything. The cabin is surrounded pines trees. Our family had a wonderful time and hope to return next year!"

"We had an amazing stay at this cabin for our Lake George trip! It was super cozy, had plenty of room for our group, and we loved the hot tub, games, and bonfire.Tim was seriously one of the best hosts! Super chill, welcoming, helpful, and incredibly easy to communicate with. He made the whole stay even better.For future guests, just make sure to clean up after yourselves, especially the bathrooms, and follow the house rules. They’re honestly super simple and reasonable nothing crazy or restrictive.Overall, we had a great time and would definitely stay here again. Thanks, Tim!"

"We had a wonderful time at this house on Friends Lake! The direct lake access was fabulous. The house is very clean and comfortable and has all the essentials. The owner and management people are friendly and responsive. Overall, it was a perfect, relaxing getaway at a peaceful, beautiful place."
Charming cabin with three river-view decks & private setting

"Nice, clean getaway in the mountains across from the Hudson. Very quiet and private with great balcony views overlooking tall trees and a natural front yard. Trees obscured the summertime view of the Hudson but we still enjoyed its' steady, soothing sounds at night. The bedrooms were clean and comfortable and moderately decorated. The living room was on the same level as the kitchen and seemed very limited in space. The kitchen was clean and well-appointed with all the necessary appliances available. Oddly, there was no garbage disposal. Plan to bring groceries and cook your own meals during your stay because the local area's restaurant offerings are somewhat limited. The steep uphill driveway was a challenge at first, but we got used to it. Though it was intended to be a circular driveway, the very top of the drive is roped off for outdoor seating, There is no turnaround area. The city of Warrensburg is minutes away and offers small town charm while, just minutes further, Lake George offers all the attractions of an active tourist town including restaurants, coffee shops, and the usual tourist and t-shirt stops.Lake George itself is a beautiful, picture-perfect lake and is large enough to take a well worth a drive around with your windows down. Get gas when you can because stations are few and far between."
